Third pov

Autumn giggled happily as she ran around the playground, climbing up and down the jungle gym and monkey bars with joy in her heart. She had never had this much fun at all in her life, most of the time when her parents went out to the park, they would always take her brother and leave her behind at the house to entertain herself, but she's not with them anymore, she's with her new family! A better family that's already given her new clothes, a full healthy meal two days in a row, and finally they're letting her play around the park a while. This was the best day ever, and she was going to spend every last minute of it.

As she climbed herself to the tippy top of the slide, she gazed down at how steep it was, it was pretty steep, by her point of view...and it made her very scared, this would be her first time going down a slide, it was a little nerve racking for her. Fiddling with her hands she peered over towards the group of skeletons that had adopted her, they seemed to be talking about some very funny stuff, laughter and jokes echoed over to her ears as she watched them joke with one another.

Black noticed how quiet autumn had become, his eyes gazed around the park a bit till they fell on to her after a minute of searching. Once realizing autumns sudden nervous jittering, he quickly excused himself, marching straight over with mutt following close behind, slouched over while the two of them made their way to the end of the slide. Black had his arms placed behind his back as he starred up at her, his gaze soft while he read her movements.

"WHAT'S THE MATTER SMALL ONE, DID SOMETHING HAPPEN?"

" mm...I'm scared..."

" OF WHAT DEAR CHILD?"

Autumn pointed her tiny fingers down at the slide, holding on tightly to plastic part of the  to keep herself from falling forward. It took black a couple of seconds before he finally realized that she was talking about going down the slide by herself. Chuckling softly he bent down in front of the slide with his hands held out in front of him while he gazed up at her, smiling softly as he motions her to slide down to him.

" DON'T BE FRIGHTENED SWEETLING, YOU CAN CONQUER THIS CHALLENGE! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CLOSE YOUR EYES, TAKE A DEEP BREATH, AND PUSH YOURSELF FORWARD"  autumn looked at him like he was crazy for a few seconds, shortly after she followed his steps, she sat herself on the edge, pointing her feet to black who waited patiently for her, taking a deep breath she placed her hands far ahead of her, leaning back before she pushed her self forward....maybe a little too hard.

The moment she pushed herself, she leaned too far forward, she thumbed her head on the slide before gliding in to blacks arms, who frantically picked her up in his arms, rubbing her back as she cried in to his chest. Autumns crying caused the rest of the boys to come rushing over to the three of them. Edge and viper frantically looking her over while bomb barding black and mutt, demanding they tell the two of them what happened.

" CALM DOWN, IT WAS A SIMPLE TUMBLE"

" did she fall over or something?"

Mutt couldn't help himself anymore, he had already tried to keep his laughter in when the situation happened, when that loud ' thunck' reached his ears, his hands shot up to his mouth while he turned himself away, his body twitching as he tried hiding his amusement. ' oh hell this kid is gonna be the death of us all' At this point he could keep his laughter in anymore, he bent on to his knees, letting out a howl of laughter.

Black glared at mutt as he let the back of autumns head, her cries had finally calming down as she sniffled. She pulled her head up from him, wiping away any left over tears, as she looked back up at the slide.

" what's so dam funny mutt?"

" s...she....she fell forward while trying to go down the slide" mutt wheezed out, leaning against the jungle gym, trying to regain his breathe. " s..she pushed off a little too hard, which resulted her to fall forward and thunk her head against the slide, b..but she's fine * wheeze* I can't...I need to sit down" mutt cried out, stumbling over to the park bench, red and cash following behind asking if he caught it on video. Blue and strech were by viper, edge and black comforting autumn gently.

" I..I don't wanna play on the slide again..."

" COME NOW SMALL ONE, DON'T LET THIS PLASTIC THING GET THE BETTER OF YOU, IF YOU'RE NOT UP FOR IT NOW TRY AGAIN LATER OK?" Edge spoke to her assuring her a bit.

" ..ok.."

Autumn sniffed once more, pushing her face in to blacks chest once more while whimpering to him. " wanna go home..."

" You Don't Wanna Keep Playing?"  He asked while walking back over towards the benches with the group. Autumn silently shook her head, she thought about maybe swinging for a while, but in the end she was ready to go on home and just play there. " Wanna go home....please?"

" Alright Sweetling, We'll Go Home, Mutt, It's Time To Leave"

" DOES SHE NOT WANNA PLAY ANYMORE?"

Black shook his head, while rubbing autumns back as he walked back to the car. Autumns head peaked over his shoulder, catching a glimpse of a blue hooded skeleton leaning against the slide, amusement painting his face as he watched the group make their way to the car. The young child pushed herself on blacks shoulder for balance, before calling out to him as she waved with her free hand.

" Hi Sans!!"

Black froze for a second, slowly looking back at her before turning to where her eyes were looking at. There by the slide stood one of their most hated doppelganger. Dust. He was surprisingly by himself, there was no sign of cross or killer, although they could be scouting. Black growled, holding a protective hand on autumns head while backing up behind edge and viper, who gladly took a stance in front of the two of them.

Blue berry step forward as well, starring Dust down before speaking in a firm tone. " WHAT DO YOU WANT DUST?"  Said skeletons shrugged his shoulders, still looking amused. " nothin baby blue, just curious is all.."

" CURIOUS OF WHAT?"

" the human you lot have"
