Third pov

Papyrus tried everything in his power to get autumn to smile again, but no matter how hard he tried he could never get that frown she had to turn upside down. she was still upset about her papa dust leaving so soon. The situation confused papyrus all together in general, never in his life would he see someone with such a high LV and a nasty attitude when they first met him, he never even would have suspected that dust cared for autumn so much, he would have always caught dust speaking to his other clones about how much he hated humans, but to go soft for a human child no less? there must be something papyrus must be missing, a piece of the puzzle he plans on solving when it comes to that. in this moment he needed to cheer up a certain child in need of cheering up. autumn sat by the backdoor, looking out the glass door with a melancholy expression planted on her face while she sat Criss cross by the back.  papyrus thought for a moment before an idea popped into his head, making his way to kneel by the child, he placed a hand on to her back, catching her attention before he spoke out his idea. 

" HOW ABOUT WE DO SOME FRUIT PICKING TODAY? I KNOW A LITTLE FEILD NOT FAR FROM HERE WE CAN GO TO AND PICK SOME BERRIES TO HAVE" this made autumn perk up a little bit, the thought of getting fresh fruit did sound like a lot of fun, it was an activity she hasn't done anything like that before, she's gone trick or treating surprisingly enough, but she would always have to take her brothers bag too, if she didn't get enough candy in his bag, her candy would have been taken from her and given to him. this year she won't have to deal with that this year, and she had the perfect idea for a costume as well that she'll most definitely let her papa's know about. In this moment though she is more worried about the fresh berries and fruit to pick as soon as she possibly as she could. " Please, i wanna go out and play in the field" with that said she got up to her feet, rushing past blue who had walked in after papyrus and autumn's conversation. confused at her sudden excitement, blue peered over to papyrus who was now too on his own feet getting the fruit picking baskets out from the cupboard. " OH, ARE YOU TWO GOING OUT FOR FEASH FRUIT TODAY?" blue asked walking up to the counter, papyrus nodded while he waited for autumn to come back. As if on cue the young girl came back dressed in a lightly colored pink, long sleeved, dress, small pictures of the strawberries danced over the dress, little white puffy pants and light pink boots hugged her legs to keep her warm during this winter. winter. WINTER? this puzzled autumn a little bit, how were papyrus and herself going to pick fruit when it's really cold outside. autumn gripped on to papyrus's scarf, looking up at him with her confused expression. " papa papyrus". Blue and papyrus both looked down at the child, smiling a bit while waiting for her to speak to them

" HM? YES, MY DARLING?" papyrus asked patting her head softly with a bright smile.

" how can we pick berries in the middle of winter?"

blue was the one that answered the question asked: " SIMPLE!! LITTLE ONE! OUR SEEDS THAT WE GOT FROM THE STORE NOT TOO LONG AGO WE INFUSED WITH MAGIC!" 

" Really?" 

" MHM, DURING THE WHOLE YEAR AFTER WE HARVEST THEM, THE MAGIC WE INSUFED WITH THE SEEDS, MAKE MORE FRUIT AND BERRIES GROW." papyrus explained handing blue a few of the baskets they had, he gave a small one to autumn before grabbing on to her hand, him, blue and autumn all walked out of the house once they were done getting ready, blue and papyrus conversating with once another while autumns child mind got distracted with a bunch of new sights to see. the forest that was in their back yard seemed like it went on for hours on end. while on their way to the field the three of them had found a little stream of water flowing along the path they were taking. this puzzled both blue and papyrus " HM... I DON'T REMEBER THIS STREAM BEING HERE, DO YOU THINK IT LEADS TO THE POUND BY THE FIELD BLUE?" 

" MM MAYBE! IF SO THAT MEANS THERE MUST BE A WATERFALL CLOSE BY, AND IF THE POUND IS SAFE LIKE EDGE AND BLACK HAS TOLD US, IT MIGHT BE SAFE FOR ALL OF US TO SWIN IN DURING THE SUMMER" this mad autumn halt in her path, quickly turning around to face the two of them, stars appearing in her eyes. " really?! we might have our own swimming pool?" 

" WELL, IN A WAY MAYBE, BUT WE'LL HAVE TO MAKE SURE WITH BLACK AND EDGE FIRST BEFORE ASSUMING ANYTHING FIRST." Blue explained, patting a hand on autumn's head, said child giggled a bit before she counties on the path, after a few more minutes of exploring and walking the three family members all shortly arrived at their destination. A whole line of trees and bushes filled to the brim of fruits and berries. from strawberries to blueberries, peaches and apples, all kinds of delicious fruits laid out in the field one way or the other. Autumn let out a high-pitched squeal before rushing down the hill, making a bee line for her favorite fruit, peaches. Unfortunately, due to her problems being short, she can't reach the peaches very easily. Luckily papyrus came to the rescue, picking her up into the air for her to pick a peach off of its branch and into her basket.  after a bit pf picking delicious food, autumn got a little distracted with a butterfly, she giggled a little bit while she cashed after it, not really paying attention to where she was going, after a bit of running around the edge of a cliff came up quickly in her path, all alongside a stick as well. papyrus and blue both noticed this and, in a panic, began to run after her, shouting her name as they ran as fast as they could, but it was too late, just as autumn turned her head towards them, she had tripped over said stick, falling over the edge. All she could really remember was the sheer panic in blue and papyrus's screams.
