Chapter 16

Third pov

Waking up the next morning was typically the same as yesterday, blue helped autumn out with her bath this morning while papyrus and pumpkin helped make breakfast for everyone that morning, autumn was in front of the TV watching her favorite cartoons again, this time she was on her feet playing with a few toys in her hands, imitating the characters on screen with the stuffed bear and stuffed bee in her hands. It wasn't as fun when there's a bunch of giant robots on screen in front of her, having robots would be a lot more fun then making cute bears and bees fight each other.

Watching the show along with her was her papa whine and her papa kofi, who sat close by to make sure she didn't run in to the coffee table and harm her little toes. After a few more moments playing with toys and watching cartoons, breakfast was finally ready, like yesterday very few were home at the time due to it being a week day and a lot of people were already off at work at the moment. Wine only has the day off for today so he can help kofi with all of the school stuff, as much as he would love for autumn to have a little break, this whole signing her up for school stuff is gonna take a while. Might as well get it done now before Monday comes.

After breakfast kofi had strapped autumn in her car seat, smiling softly while she hummed a song to herself softly while wine spoke briefly to sans about their healthcare issue before he  and his brother packed themselves in to the car along side with pumpkin on account he wanted to make a quick stop by the store to pick up a few things for dinner tonight and the upcoming holidays.

After everyone was strapped in their seat belts, wine pulled the car in to motion, then the lot of them were on their way to the nearby school sans had found a really good preschool for autumn to attend to. When they had arrived at the school, autumn felt herself grow a little nervous. She had never really been to a real school before so this is a new experience for her, then again a lot of the stuff her new family allowed her to do so far had been nothing but new experiences for her and she absolutely loved it so far, but the school situation is a feeling she doesn't like feeling at all.

When her, wine, kofi, and pumpkin all stood in front of the daycare/school, autumn felt her arms wrap around wines arm, hiding herself behind him while she watched other kids rush inside happily...their parents however...they couldn't seem to keep their eyes off of her papa's. ( Don't worry this isn't a fontcest thing I'll be adding a few other characters to make this make a little more sense-)

Wine looked down at her, tilting his head gently before he knelt down in front of her, holding her hands in his as he looked in to her eyes. " What Is The Matter My Dear Child?"

Autumn stayed silent for a moment or two, standing on her tippy toes before she whispered to him. " I'm nervous...I've never been to an actual school before...."

Wine smiled warmly at her, patting her head softly as he spoke to her in a low voice. " That's A Bit Surprising, Seeing How Smart You Are." Autumn looked at him with her own smile, taking a deep breath when she grabbed on to wines hand after he stood up to his feet.

" COME NOW MY DEAR CHILD, LET'S GET THIS SCHOOL SITUATION OUT OF THE WAY, THE. WE CAN HEAD OVER TO MEET ALPHYS!" wine spoke with a bright smile on his face, gripping on to autumns hand to lead her and his brothers inside.

Autumn was still a little nervous about this new school. What I'd the kids don't like her? Or the teachers, what if she's not smart enough like the other kids, this is her first time going to a public school. Most of the stories mama has told her were always demeaning Schools, public or private, she always told autumn it was useless to go to school, but mom did always lie. She lies about a lot of things. So maybe this school thing won't be so bad after all!

With her new found confidence she took a deep breath, marching along side her papa wine, with papa kofi and papa pumpkin following behind closely.
