Burning Darkness [ Under Heavy Construction]

Chapter 16

This time I have to bring the heat, and keep my composure. I ran into an empty parking lot.

"Stop running you coward" Ronald said. I stopped and swung my sword in the air, a blade of fire singed Ronald's body.

Ronald ran through the fire and tried to grab me. I used his momentum against him, I grabbed his arm and flipped him.

Ronald landed on his feet and shot lots of gunk in the air. I summoned my vortex and put one hand in the air.

I was inside a bubble of fire, when the gunk came crashing down. Ronald rushed me, I balled my hand up and the fire went into my palms.

I shot 5 streams of fire out my vortex, all 5 smashed into Ronald's chest, knocking him on his back.

Shortly after being hit, I pointed my sword at him, and charged up a blast.

The tip of the sword glowed. The pavement started up come up all around me.

The blast was so powerful, it sent me flying backwards. Luckily I caught myself and landed safely.

Ronald got up and quickly blocked his face by making an x with his arms.

The blast made a huge impact that hit him head on. A huge smoke cloud formed and it became silent.

Once the smoke cleared, Ronald was still in his defensive pose. His arms were burned and parts his body was on fire.

The fire put itself out as, Ronald slowly dropped his arms. "Tch."

My vortex was still swirling around me. Ronald smiled, and watched as the burned skin started to heal.

"Hahahah" he laughed. I twirled my sword.

"You've got to be kidding me" I whispered to myself. I knew Ronald wasn't gonna be easy to kill.

He charged at me, moving side to side. I threw fire balls left and right, but I couldn't hit him.

Ronald got way to close and lundged at me. I used my sword to block the attack.

He rushed me more, throwing punch after punch, bite after bite. I backed up trying my best to avoid them all.

He threw a punch and moved to the left, he immediately followed up with a bite. I raised up my arm, and he chomped down.

I grabbed my sword and jabbed him in the jaw and he let go of his grip. Ronald lundged at me again, I moved to the right and was scraped on the shoulder.

I felt a sting, but nothing to damaging. He threw a barrage of punches I ducked a couple, but a few made contact on my face.

I blocked one punch with my hand, and tried to stab him in the gut, but he jumped back.

I used that as an opportunity to strike, so rushed him and punched fire at his body.

Ronald was quick for someone his size. The fire hit Ronald's chest a couple times, but it wasn't really effective.

He grabbed one of my fists mid punch, and threw me across the parking lot.

I landed on all fours and ran at him with sword in a striking position. Ronald taunted, and shot gunk at me.
I side stepped all of them, and swung my sword towards his throat. Ronald moved his head, barely avoided the attacked.

He jumped back and touched his throat. I looked at my sword and saw a speck of blood.

Ronald's neck had a tiny cut, but quickly healed. He rushed me again, attack after attack.
