Sleeping in an alley isn't so bad. Once I protected myself with a couple of harmless flames, the animals leave you alone.

I can't say the same for Rachel and Devonte, they were  tossing and turning all night.

Devonte woke up with a couple of scratches on his arm and Rachel's hair was a mess.

We packed up our sleeping bags and put it away. "What's the time?" Devonte asked.

"9:32" Rachel responded. So, we have a new member in the group. She's pretty chill and that's alright with me.

We still don't no EVERYTHING about Rachel, hopefully we find out soon. Until then I still don't fully trust her.

I don't know, maybe I just have trust issues when it comes to new people.

One thing's for sure, I trust my brother 100%.

No matter how reckless, he got my back and I got his. We all finished packing.

"Breakfast anyone?" I looked at them both. They nodded in agreement. "I saw a coffee shop not too far from here. Its a couple blocks away from the alley" Rachel said.

All together we have around $300. I dont think we'll need that much. But then I thought about new weapons, clothes, food, and medicine.

If we keep fighting people at this rate, we'll need a lot of first aid.

"Come on" Rachel said. She lead us out of the alley and back towards the Central. There seemed to be no one talking about the fire.

Not even a mention. That fire was totally my fault. I need to have better control over my element or I'll put my brother and Rachel in danger.

We passed by the clothing store, where we first met Mike. He was no where to be found. The Central was as normal as it was, when we first arrived.

We went further down before making two turns. As we entered the coffee shop, all eyes turned towards us.

Neither one of us moved. "Act natural" Rachel whispered. She walked toward the counter. Devonte and I followed.

The girl behind the cash register was chewing gum quite annoyingly.

"Welcome to the Sky Coffee Shop, where we serve the best coffee in all of Sky. How may I help you?"

The blonde took out her gum and put it back inside its wrapper. She shot it at it the trash can, but terribly missed.

Next she pulled out hand sanitizer and cleaned her hands. At least she was a clean person.

Rachel ordered for us. "Can we get 3 elemental shakes and 6 donuts."

The cashier stared at us before tapping the screen in front on her. "What elements do you want?"

"Water, Fire, and Air please." She tapped the screen a couple more times. She turned the screen our way.

I read over what we had ordered. "Looks about right" I said.

"Your total is...$7.45" she said. Rachel paid her the money and took the receipt.

"It'll be ready momentarily." I half expected her to transform into a spider also, but that didn't happen.

We walked over to a empty table and claimed our seats. "What are elemental shakes?" Devonte asked.

"They are like energy drink, but without all the cafine. It's like a boost for your element. It helps your element flow more fluently and easier to control" Rachel said.

"Great, cause after.." I cut myself off. I looked around to see if anybody was listening. "After the fire, it lowered my confidence a bit" I whispered.

"Yeah that fire was definitely your fault" Devonte said. I shot him a dirty look. Rachel elbowed him.

"Everything happens for a reason. Besides if that fire didn't start, I probably wouldn't have found you guys" said Rachel.

A smile creeped across my face. The waitress walked towards us holding a tray. "Here's your drinks and donuts, enjoy" she said.

The waitress left, skipping happily. Rachel passed us our drinks and donuts.

I took a sip and it literally tasted like nothing. "I expected this to at least have a taste" I complained.

Devonte sipped his and screwed his face up. "I feel like I'm drinking water" he said.

Rachel drank hers with no problem. I drank more of mine, before I ate my donut.

"So, the library after this" Devonte asked. I looked at the clock in the shop, it read 9:56am.

"Do you know where to find it?" Rachel asked. "Yeah, the spider told us before the building went up in flames" I said.

"Good" she responded. "What are you gonna look for?" I haven't thought about it. "To be honest, I really don't know. I'll probably know what too look for when we're there.

"I could help" Devonte added. I stopped drinking and looked at him. "Uh, sure you can."

He smiled and went back to eating his donut. Silence fell over the table.

We finished our breakfast in silence.

Devonte went outside for some fresh air. I think it was just an excuse to leave us alone.

I looked at her and she smiled back. She's a really pretty girl. "What" she snickered.

I found myself staring at her. "Nothing. I'm just glad you're on the team."

"Oh well uh. Thank you" she said.

"Yup." I started tapping my feet.

"Ready to go?" She snapped her head back in my direction. "Yes."

We met Devonte outside before heading towards the library.

When we arrived there, we saw a familiar face.
