I've always loved going to the zoo. It was a tradition to go to the zoo every year with my grandparents.

I haven't been to the zoo in like 5 years. I've been busy with filming Outer Banks and other movies. Plus you can't really walk around a zoo with a whole bunch of people because I'm famous. It will take someone 3 seconds to recognize who I am.

My weekend plans with Mads and Bailey got shot down the drain. Mads is going out with Chase on a hiking trip. Bailey is going home for a couple of days to see her family.

Austin is still in Tennessee with Baz working out the premier stuff for the movie.

I'm sitting at home alone on a Friday night yay. I thought I could bake some cookies. I got up and found cookie mix sitting in the pantry.

Alright don't judge me okay I film for 12 hours so yeah when I want cookies I just buy the store bought stuff it still tastes great.

I get out a cooking pan and a big bowl. I'm reading the instructions when I here the door knob open. I look to see who it is. "Austin what are you doing home I thought you would be in Tennessee until Monday," I said. Austin picks me up and spins me around. He stops spinning me and puts me down holding me so I won't get dizzy.

"I thought you would be bored this weekend so I came home." Wait how did he no I was going to be bored I told him the girls and I were going to have a girls weekend. "Also Madelyn might have texted me you were going to be by yourself," he said.

Austin held up his phone to revile texts from Madelyn and him.

Madelyn: just to tell you this now Austin, Kaylen might be bored the whole weekend Bailey and I had some other plans
           Austin: don't worry I was going to go home anyway

Aww my baby came home because I was bored. "We'll thank you," I said. "Yeah plus I missed your smile," Austin said. "Well do you want to help me make cookies," I said. Austin nodded his head.

Austin was mixing the egg into the cookie dough and asked "What do you want to do this weekend doll." I thought about it and it was suppose to be nice this weekend. I haven't been to the zoo for a long time.

"I kinda want to go to the zoo," I told him. "Yeah that sounds nice," he said. Once we were done putting the cookies in the oven Austin got on the phone with someone.

The tv had some old movies on so I decided I was going to watch them whale Austin was on the phone.

The Wizard Of Oz was starting. I don't think I've seen this movie in a long time. I felt a hand on my back. I turned around and there was Austin smiling at me. "What," I asked. "Well we're going to the zoo tomorrow without any people it will just be you and me," Austin said.

"You got the zoo to close for tomorrow just because I want to go to the zoo," I said excitedly. "Yes" I jumped into his arms.

~ The Next Day ~

We were in the the car going to the zoo. The drive wasn't very long if I had to say maybe 20 minutes.

Once we got inside we payed to go in and there was in fact no one there. There was an animal the I particularly wanted to see. Austin and I took our sweet time looking at the sea otters they were in there swimming around.

They were adorable but I knew what was coming next the whole reason I went to the zoo. When I say I ran I mean I ran to see the next animal. They were out in the open looking at the glass between us. The bears. I loved the bears, to me they were adorable and just friendly.

Austin watched me literally smiling and giggling because of what it was doing. "Should I be jealous that you like a bear way more than me," Austin said. "Maybe." Austin took some pictures of me giggling at the bear.

We spend a good 30 minutes just watching the bears they were so interesting.

Eventually we made our way around it to see the tigers, wolves, and other animals.

I just loved being here. We came across they place were you can visit Lama's and we went in. They had all different colors. And on the other side of the fence was the camels just running around.

They looked like they were having fun. I saw some wild horses just on the other side of the camels. They looked chunky if I do say. One of them looked like it was pregnant. We made a whole circle around seeing all different kinds of animals.

Once we went back inside we decided to took at the animals inside. They were turtle's, lemur's, a bunch of different kinds of birds, and many other animals.

We did end up making it to my favorite animal inside the zoo apart from the bears which is my favorite of all. The red panda was laying in a tree facing us. It was adorable the long tail was so fluffy. It looked like a teddy bear no doubt.

We made our out of the rainforest area and they still had two more animals we had to see. The penguins were either standing around or in the water. They kind of looked liked a cult no going to lie.

Austin was taking pictures of them. "I think these guys are my favorite," Austin said. "What how they look like there in a cult," I said. Austin giggled. His hand went around my waist.

The monkeys were last. They had we cute all taking care of each other. I think the monkeys were the ones that acted the most like family. Cleaning each other and picking whatever out of there fur.

When we saw the gift shop I wanted to pass it but Austin took my hand he dragged me over. I started looking at the cool stuff all around. Austin's arm tapped on my shoulder and I turned around seeing a brown bear in his arms.

"What is this for," I asked. "For you," he said with a smile. Austin ended up paying for him which I told him I could pay but he insisted.

By the time I was in Austin's car I fell asleep with the brown bear in my arms.
I also named him Elvis.
