It had been 2 days sense the incident happened and let's just say I have been avoiding Austin. He has been calling me but I've not been answering.

Right now I'm looking on Facebook looking at my friends posts. I've been bored and alone sense having the break so I thought I would get a dog.

My mom found a breeder in South Carolina and there the cutest puppies ever. My pick date is tomorrow so I'm excited. I heard the doorbell ring so I got up.

Whale walking to the door I thought who could it be but my mind went blank. I opened the door and Austin was standing there.

"Hey." Was all Austin said. "Hi." Austin made his way in my apartment and looked right in my eyes. "So I know you been avoiding me the last couple of days" he said. Okay yes I wasn't going to deny that.

All I thought was does Kaia know or did he not tell her. "So what have you been doing" Austin asked. "I have been kinda bored but my mom found me a puppy that I can take" I said. "Your getting a puppy" he said. "Yeah."

"When do you get to pick it out." "Tomorrow at 11" I said. "Can I come" Austin asked. I was okay with him coming because Austin loves dogs but why doesn't he spend a day with his girlfriend. "Sure."

Austin ended up giving me my sweatshirt back that he took and I gave him back his. It was kinda tough but I managed.

I was excited to see the puppies sense I haven't seen my actual dog in like a year. My mom takes care of my dog Louie plus I think he likes Wisconsin.

The next morning I woke up early so I could eat breakfast before I left. Austin ended coming at 10 just so we could be early to see the puppies.

I had the first pick of the litter so that was difficult to find a puppy just for me.

We ended up being 20 minutes early so Austin and me went through the drive through at Starbucks. I changed up my order and got a Pink drink instead.

I left my drink in the car when we ended up getting there. I knocked on the door and a lady came and opened the door.

"Hi your Kaylen right" she said. "Yes, Sandy right." "Yep" she said. "Oh sorry this is Austin he came to help me pick out one." "Oh yes I watched Elvis a couple of days ago with my family you were amazing in it." "Thank you" Austin said.

We took off our shoes and went down to her basement to where the whole basement was dedicated to dogs and puppies. "The moms are locked up in there cage just because the one mom is protective of her babies" Sandy said.

There was a couch we could sit on. "I'll bring the puppies up." She went to get one. The puppies had little collars to tell which one from which and all had names to the color.

One had a red collar on and it's temporary name was strawberry jam. She took all of them out and put them down in a closed off playpen so they could play.

They were adorable. Austin started playing with one named cotton candy. They were all playing until one came up to me and tried to get up on the couch with me. "That one's name is blueberry" Sandy said. Blueberry was all white lab his brothers were white labs but not as white as him.

Blueberry kept licking me. His face was adorable. Austin took notice "He likes you."

Austin and me kept playing with blueberry the whole time. I could tell that this puppy was probably going to have an attachment to Austin and me.

Austin was playing with all the puppies at one point and he just looked so cute trying to be like them.

"So what are you going to name him" Sandy said. I really did have a name picked out for him yet which was surprising. "Elvis."

Okay look it wasn't for Austin it was for the real Elvis Presley and his story. "Alright cute name, you get to take it home in two weeks" Sandy said.

I thanked her and Austin and me left. I didn't want to leave the cute puppies mother did Austin but he dragged me out.
