Everly

Kelly looked at me wide eyed look and I took a deep breath as I looked down at my feet.

"We're having a baby."

Kelly grinned as he made his way over to me and laid his hand on my stomach.

"I love you."

I smiled.

"I love you. Now can we get to the hospital?"

Kelly chuckled.

"Of course, let's get you to the ambo."

I nodded as Kelly wrapped his arm around me.

"Ambo's out, they got a call after the fire."

I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and I clutched onto Kelly's arm.

"Ow. Okay, I'm here. I'm right here baby."

Kelly looked back at the group of guys standing behind us not totally sure what to do in this situation.

"Uh, Squad, Everyone, let's help her. Let's go."

Everybody started scurrying around and I looked up at Kelly.

"I'm going to pick you up now okay baby?"

I nodded and let Kelly swoop me up in his arms before we headed towards the Squad truck.

"Everybody load up. We'll meet you there."

"Matt! Can you swing by our apartment and grab my bag? It's by the door."

"I've got it sis."

There was another sharp cramp and I yelped out in pain as Kelly set me down on the bench in the truck.

"GO!"

Tony nodded and flicked the sirens on as he pulled out of the firehouse.

"How you feeling baby?"

"I've delivered hundreds of babies and I never imagine it would hurt this much."

Kelly grabbed onto my hands.

"Breathe baby."

I squeezed Kelly's hand as another contraction hit and the truck came to a stop.

I furrowed my eyebrows and Kelly turned his head to look at Tony.

"Tony get us moving."

"There's nowhere to go lieutenant."

"Oh my god! I'm going to have this baby in the back of the Squad."

Kelly chuckled and I shook my head.

"What are you laughing at?"

"You have to admit it's kind of funny!"

I chuckled.

"This is not how I would of imagined it going."

Kelly chuckled before another contraction hit. I squeezed his hand and yelled out in pain. Something felt different about this one.

"Oh my god."

Kelly gave me a panicked look.

"What is it?"

"The baby's coming."

"What?"

"The baby. It's coming. Now."

Kelly nodded.

"Ok, let's lay down."

I nodded as I carefully laid down on the ground of the truck.
