29. Miss resilient

Max's pov--->

Its been a week since I got out of the hospital and about a week since my suicide attempt. I've been fighting the urge to cut since then, its came back harder then ever this time. I am back at my house I officially bought but billie is living with me because the doc said I needed supervision.

Billie removed everything sharp she found or anything I could cut with. I eventually told her a few days ago about the feelings of cutting I got.

I'm currently eating a banana while on my computer doing homework. I have my notebook open while I spin the pin in my other hand, im supposed to be taking notes that we can use for a test coming up but it's getting super boring.

"you've been doing that for almost a hour max" billie walks in looking at me. Her green hair was pulled up into a messy bun. We haven't talked about anything since we were at the hospital.

"I'm still taking notes with my banana" I hold it up in her face then she takes a bite from it. "I think Mr banana is now gone" I take the last bite throwing it away. She laughs a little sitting next to me.

"so now since your done lets clean your wrist" She watches me getting up to make sure I'm ahead of her. We've done this since everything happened. I hear her small shuffles behind me as we walk to the bathroom.

I sit on the sink like always. She makes me sit on the sink so it's easier for her, at least that's what she said. She grabs a swab and the rubbing alcohol. She grabs my hand while I watch her. She removes the old bandages.

She grabs the swab pouring alcohol on it.

it's going to sting" I watch billie get a cotton swab

"no it won't i'm to resilient" I cross my arms on top of my chest. Billie rolls her eyes and get close to me again.

"ready miss resilient" i let out a small laugh and billie put the cotton ball on one of my scratches. I soon sucks in a sharp breath, closing my eyes tightly.

"ready resilient" Billie smirked looking up at me.

"as always" I look down at her. She chuckles putting the swab on my skin. I just watch as she cleans it, I'm use to the pain now. Billie finishes tossing the swab away then grabs the bandages putting them around my arm. When she's done with that she raises my arm then kisses the bandage.

"all better" She says in a weird voice. I laugh then look back down at her. She smiles cutely in my face while I fight the urge to just kiss her. "just come here already" She grabs my cheeks smashing our lips together.

My stomach explodes like this is the first time all over again. She hold my face still as I put my hands on her back pulling her between my legs. We pull apart to breath, her lips a little swollen. I let a smile crawl onto my face when I hop down from the sink.

"You're way to good for me max" billie pulls my collar closer to her. I move my head to her neck while she held on.

"How so eilish" I linger above her neck for a moment. I pull my face to be close to hers again.

"You just are" She whispers looking at my lips again. I pull my bottom lip in smiling. Our faces are only centimeters apart as I feel her breath on my face. She kisses me again as I felt the tingling feeling in my lower area.

Billie pushes me, making me sit on the edge of my bed. She grabs my collar once again. I look up at her while she looks down at me.

"c'mon get up" Billie pushes my side. I've been avoiding in school ever since I came back.

"what If they all laugh at me" I roll over again. I hear a sigh then she went around to the other side laying down to face me.

"no one is going to laugh at you, if they do ill shove my rings in their face" She makes a fist with her hand. She lights up a little when she remembers something. She runs around the room looking for something. "got it" I hear her whisper.

"now stick your hand out, fingers spread. Close your eyes" she smiled then I did so. I felt something slip on my finger. "And open"

"do you want the bunny ring?" She slid it off then grabbed my hand putting it on my finger

"Oh my god we are married now!" I yelled in drunk excitement. She laughed letting her dimple show. "Wait when did we have a wedding" I looked dead serious at her.

"Right now" she looks past me looking at James and chip who are now passed out on the couch.

"You may kiss the bride!" I yell and kiss her. She smiles. "stop smiling I can't kiss you!" I command her.

I smile looking at the bunny ring.

"and now you can punch people in the face" she taps my nose getting up. I sigh standing up out if bed. She smiles then walks downstairs. I get in the shower then get dressed. I brush my teeth along with my hair.

"stop staring at yourself and come eat breakfast" billie laughed walking towards me.

"but breakfast is so weird" I look slightly down at her. She furrows her eyebrows looking at me. "It's like the first meal you eat after not eating for like over 12 hours. Its so weird" she starts laughing at me. "I'm serious! Between lunch and dinner you get hungry within a short amount of time. But between dinner and breakfast you don't get hungry" I keep rambling on as we walk to the kitchen.

"shut your mouth now and eat" She points to the plate of bacon.

"do you want any bacon" Mom asked as she was in her pajamas. I was now downstairs fully clothed for school.

"Max?" I snapped out of my thought looking at her. "is everything okay?"

"just thinking" i grab the bacon.

"about" She sat down next to me with a can of beans. Not surprised? I know.

"One of last thing mom cooked for me was bacon" I waved it in her face. She sets the knife in the can like she said in that one interview looking at me.

"Was it good bacon"

"it was really good. Best bacon I've ever ate" I finish then take my plate out to the sink. Billie continued eating her Refried beans in a can, with a knife.

"Alright lets go" Billie jumped up throwing her can away, then set the knife in the sink once I walked away.

I grab my bookbag then my laptop that was sitting on the couch stuffing it inside. We got in her car driving off.
