We were sitting in my room going over what we could find and we just stuck sticky notes on my wall.
"Ok, so my mother is an only child. Born in France. And her parents/my grandparents are Margret and Eugene Crawford. There's some people in between, also a dude who has the initials M.G, can't find any more on him though." I recounted as I looked at the make shift tree.
"Did you know your family owned a sailing company back in the 1700." Adrien pointed out.
"How did you find that?"
"I followed your grandmothers side of the tree. The Goodwin company was very profitable, and could still be making money now."
"Weird. I could be rich and I don't know how I feel about that."
"It's not all that it's chalked up to be." He pointed out making me chuckle.
"Let's just move on from that." I told as I wrote it down and added it to grandmas side of the tree.
'Who is M.G?'
"Woah!" Adrien suddenly told making me go over to him.
"What?"
"There's a picture of one of your ancestors." He informed making look to see a sophisticated man but there was a lady standing with him.
"No way!"
"What?" He questioned making me point to the lady.
"I think that's Jeanne de Clisson."
"Who?"
"She was this French pirate. We did a term on learning about pirates back in Australia. I think I might be related to her." I explained.
"We may have a different situation to focus on here, Babe."
"Like what?" I questioned making him point to a bracelet she was wearing and we both realised it looked exactly like mine.
"She was Esprit Bera?" We both questioned as one making Bjorn come over to us.
"She was. Very courageous. She of course gave it up to travel the seas." He informed but I saw something else in the paint.
"So we know at least you and another ancestor of yours wore the bear miraculous. That neat I suppose." Adrien stated.
"Also makes sense why I felt a strong resemblance between the two of you." Bjorn added.
"Hey Adrien."
"Yeah?"
"Can you zoom in to the window in the back?" I asked making him do so.
"Sure."
When he did, we both tilted our head in confusion to see there was a girl in the glass who held a grin that stuck worry into us. Like it appeared innocent but was actually a wicked one in fact.
"This is not good." The three of us told as one at that.
