He saw Jimin was in his bathrobe, and his eyes widened when Jimin hugged him.
"Husband," he heard Jimin mutter in his embrace.
"Are you Jeon Jungkook?" one of the cops in the station approached him, but it took more than a minute for Jungkook to come back to reality.
"Mr. Jeon Jungkook?" the cop yelled louder, which made Jungkook jerk.
"Why are you shouting at my husband? And is this the right way to investigate him? According to the law, you should respect him first. Do you know that I can file a complaint against you for treating my husband inadequately? Should I complain?" Jimin shouted at the cops.
The rest of the cops in the station were amazed at Jimin's point.
Jimin shifted his gaze to Jungkook, and he cupped his face.
"Are you okay, my husband?" Jimin asked him with sugar-coated words.
"Huh?" Jungkook blinked his eyes as he was still processing what on earth was happening to him.
"Mr. Jeon Jungkook?" the cop gulped while side-eyeing Jimin.
"Huh, yes, I am," Jungkook answered and waited for the cop to complete his sentence.
"Can you please come inside?" the cop gestured to his cabin.
Jungkook nodded his head and followed him, leaving Jimin behind.

"What happened, sir? Why did you call me? And why is Jimin here?" Jungkook had many questions to ask the cop.
"Well, Mr. Jeon, are you married to Park Jimin?"
"Huh... Huh. Yeah. We are married," Jungkook gulped and didn't expect this question.
"For how many years have you been married?"
"Huh, well, hmm, it's only been three days since we got married."
"Only three days?" the cop asked in surprise.
"Yeah!" Jungkook started to feel nervous, and he didn't know why the cop was inquiring about his marriage.
"Then why did you leave your husband alone? Do you know why he's here? And didn't you contact your husband for three days? Was it a forced marriage?"
"Well, I didn't leave him. We had a fight that day, so he left me. And I was searching for him all these days." Jungkook lied, and at the same time, he was clever enough not to get caught by the cops.

"But why was he here? Did he commit a crime?"
The cop took a deep breath before answering.
"Your husband was staying in an REE HOTEL. Unfortunately, some robbers planned to steal his belongings since he started ordering more food, which drew their attention. Yesterday, your husband ordered dinner at the hotel and went to take a shower. After showering, he found out his room was a mess, and his belongings and wallet were missing."
"What?" Jungkook was shocked and never expected Jimin's belongings to be robbed.
"Yes, the hotel management called us, and we inquired about your husband. He wanted us to find the robbers and wanted a refund for his stay at the hotel. He believed it was the management's fault for the robbery."
"Of course, the hotel management is responsible for my husband's belongings.What if something happened to Jimin? And what did the management do? Did they agree to give him a refund?" Jungkook asked with a concerned tone.
"We are still processing the case, Mr. Jeon. But you can rest assured that as soon as we get you the refund and his belongings, I will contact you in person. For now, can you please take your husband to your home? We can't handle him anymore. Is he a lawyer? He is threatening us with the law," the cop complained about Jimin.
"My home?" Jungkook bit his lips nervously and didn't know what to reply.
"Yes, if he stays here, I'll soon have to resign from my job. Please take him with you. He is stressing me out, and if I get the refund, I will come in person and hand over his belongings. But for now, take him to your home. And don't ever let your husband come back here, please," the cop begged at him.
Jungkook was taken aback when the cop complained about Jimin.

Jungkook rolled his eyes and decided to act along with him, as some of the cops were eyeing them.
"Sweetie, can we go home?" Jungkook smiled and asked him.
"But they didn't find my---"
"They will find the robbers soon, my baby. Now, shall we go home? And it's not safe to stay here," Jungkook gritted his teeth yet maintained his smiling face.
"But they didn't find my..." Jimin began to say before Jungkook interrupted him.
"Don't worry, they will find the robbers soon, my love. Now, shall we go home? It's not safe to stay here any longer," Jungkook said through gritted teeth, trying to maintain his smiling face.
"Okay, husband," Jimin said, eyeing the cops one more time before turning his back.
