Jimin sat in the passenger seat of the car, his heart brimming with nervous excitement, he prepared himself to confess his deepest feelings to Jungkook. This was the moment he had been waiting for, the perfect opportunity to propose to the love of his life.
But just as he mustered the courage to speak, Jungkook's phone erupted with an obnoxious ringtone, shattering Jimin's hopes of immediate attention. He felt his pout forming involuntarily, his lips jutting out in a display of adorable frustration. Why did this call have to interrupt their precious moment?
Jungkook quickly pulled the car to a stop, answering the call with a slightly apologetic expression. Jimin huffed, crossing his arms and slumping back against the seat, his eyes fixed on Jungkook as he engaged in conversation with whoever dared to steal his attention away.
"Hello? Yes, Jun?" Jungkook's voice sounded both concerned and scolding as he addressed the person on the other end of the line.
"JUN BITCH"Jimin's eyes narrowed in mock annoyance, muttering under his breath about Jun's forgetfulness and the impending punch he planned to deliver once they reached the university.
As the call continued, Jimin's impatience grew.
" How could you forget about our Practicals Jun? And what world are you in? " Jungkook shouted on the call.
'Probably he is with Taehyung and now he forgot that he has an exam. He is such a dumb' Jimin thought to himself and he wanted to do something to gain Jungkook's attention.
He tugged at Jungkook's sleeves, trying to divert his attention back to himself, but his efforts were in vain. Jungkook seemed engrossed in the conversation, and Jimin's pout deepened. How could Jungkook ignore his cute display of sulking?
"Husband? " Jimin almost whispered,hoping for a break in the conversation, their eyes met. Jungkook mouthed a wordless question, his brows furrowed in confusion. Jimin's heart fluttered at the sight of Jungkook's focused gaze, his adoration for the younger man growing stronger with each passing second.
With a determined pout, Jimin gestured for Jungkook to end the call, his eyes pleading for Jungkook's undivided attention. However, much to Jimin's dismay, Jungkook simply ignored his request, continuing the conversation with Jun.
'BITCHY BITCH' Jimin stomped his feet madly in the car and he turned his back, making Jungkook to softly smile at him.
"Jun, I'm on the way to the university. So come fast and i will teach you about the programs" With that Jungkook disconnected the call.
'I will teach you about the programs' Jimin mimicked himself and his attention was all on the outside of the car.
He had hoped for Jungkook to engage in a conversation, to shower him with attention and affection, but it seemed his plans were temporarily dashed.
'Dont be a bitch Jimin. Confess. Don't lose the opportunity.' Jimin encouraged himself and he prepared himself to start the conversation.
As he mustered the courage to open his mouth and express his feelings once more, Jungkook's voice interrupted his thoughts.
"We are here," Jungkook announced, a mixture of excitement and anticipation evident in his tone. Jimin's mouth closed shut, a mixture of disappointment and hope filling his eyes.
"Oh," Jimin uttered in a cute, almost melodramatic tone, his disappointment evident as Jungkook prepared to exit the car.
"Jimin what are you doing?"
But just as Jimin was about to respond to Jungkook's question, his eyes widened in surprise, his heart skipping a beat as he noticed Jungkook leaning closer towards him.
