24.Why do I feel broken?

Jungkook was awakened by the sound of his alarms. He reached out to the nearby table and switched them off. He yawned, preparing to get up, but found he couldn't move. It dawned on him that someone was lying on his stomach. In a sudden movement, he jerked, causing the person, Sweety, to fall off the bed.

"Ow!" Sweety groaned as she hit the ground, but Jungkook quickly caught her before she could fall any further.

"I'm sorry!" Jungkook panicked as he held Sweety around her waist. They locked eyes and felt an adrenaline rush that only they could understand. Sweety's gaze fixated on Jungkook's thin lips, and she licked her own before leaning in for a kiss.

But before they could kiss, their moment was cut short by a loud yell from the living room.

"JEON JUNGKOOOOOOKKKKK!"

Yumi's angry voice echoed through the apartment, causing them to quickly separate. The door knob twisted open, revealing Yumi's angry face.

Jungkook furrowed his brows, surprised by her sudden appearance. "Noona?" he questioned.

After saying goodbye to Sweety, Jungkook and Yumi sat in silence in the living room. Yumi broke the silence with a glare and a question.

"What are you doing, Jungkook?"

Jungkook shrugged. "I'm going to take a shower. Why?"

Yumi was so done with him.

"You're cheating on Jimin, Jungkook. Can't you see it?" Yumi fumed with anger.

Jungkook was tired of hearing Jimin's name. "Oh, please. Don't bring Jimin up again. Cheating? What are you even talking about?" he sighed.

"Whether you like it or not, Jimin is still your husband, Jungkook. And--"

"Noona, please. Don't be that traditional, culturally-bound girl. I never loved Jimin, like never ever. It's my life, and I know how to live it. Please don't be dramatic. And wait, did Jimin complain to you?" Jungkook asked, completely irritated.

"What? No! I was--"

"This is what Jimin does, Noona. He always behaves like a child and complains about me. If he had the guts, he would talk to me directly," Jungkook interrupted.

"Jungkook, Jimin--"

"Please, Noona. I don't want to hear his name. Let me live my life. Don't worry; I'll take care of him until the cops find his belongings. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to take a shower and get to university," Jungkook said, turning his back to her.

"Idiot, you'll soon come crying to me," Yumi cursed before leaving the room.

Jungkook stood in the shower, lost in thought about how he scolded Jimin.

"I shouldn't have shouted at him when he was sick. Is he still angry with me?" Jungkook couldn't help but wonder.

"Ah Park Jimin! You are making me go insane!"He finished his shower and dried off, muttering Jimin's name under his breath. When he checked the guest room, it was empty, and he realized that Jimin was probably in the shower himself.

Jungkook suddenly remembered that they had only an hour left before they had to be at university, and he needed to start preparing breakfast. However, he couldn't decide what to cook, and he began to feel stressed about the time constraints.

He then had an idea. Maybe taking Jimin to a nearby resort would help to smooth things over between them. It was perfect. Jungkook quickly got dressed and started to dry his hair before checking his phone for any nearby resorts.
