Chapter 24

Carter P.O.V

Naomi has been really pissed at all of us. She hasn't been talking to anyone and I'm getting tired of this shit.

I saw her leaving to eat lunch outside so I followed her. 

"Naomi we need to talk." I said but she ignored me.

"Fine, I'll start. You can't stay mad at us I know we were being dumb but this has gone on long enough." 

She didn't say anything for a while but finally spoke. "You really don't get it do you?" I shake my head no.

"I'm not pissed because you guys thought I needed space I'm pissed that you guys left me. I have made it clear that my biggest fear was losing you guys and what do you all do you left me. You stopped talking to me and completely ignored me treating me like I meant nothing to you."

"We just thought it would be better." She scoffs.

"So you thought it would be better to leave me and make me feel like I did something so wrong that the guys I care about and love would leave me."

She loves us. "You love us?" Before I could register what I was doing I pulled her into a hug.

"I promise we'll never leave you again just please come back to us. We need you not talking to you has been literal hell."

"You promise not to do it again." I nod my head like crazy. I feel her hug me back and I squeeze her tightly.

I never want to let her go. "Carter can you let go I need to breathe." Oh shit. I let go and apologize. She picks up her stuff and we go back inside. 

We joined the others who when they saw us stopped talking till we sat down. "So do you forgive us?" Christopher asked her.

"Yes but don't do it again." He and Toby hugged her and said how sorry they were. 

Naomi P.O.V

I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss them throughout that whole time apart. After lunch me and Stacy walked to our classes.

"Do you forgive me?" She asked I turned and looked at her. "Of course. I understand why you did what you did, you were just trying to be a good friend." 

We stopped in front of my class and hugged. "I'll see you later babes." I nodded and she left and I went inside.

The rest of the school day went back to how I liked it. Talking the my friends again and walking each other to class. I was able to feel happy again. 

Once the school day ended we all met up near Stacy's car.

"So since you aren't mad at us anymore we were wondering if we could do a sleepover again?" 

"Where?" I asked last time they just invited themselves over and the only reason they could was because I was home alone.

"My place, my parents will be visiting my older brother for a few weeks." Christopher said. 

"Alright well, we can start tonight since it's Friday." Toby said and we all nodded well all but Stacy.

"Are you not coming?" I asked her. "I didn't think I was part of this plan so no." 

"Too bad you're part of it." Christopher said and I nodded. "At this point, you're part of the group and it's too late to leave." Toby said Stacy let out a sigh. "Fine but I'm taking Naomi home."
