Chapter 21

Naomi P.O.V Next day

I got up early because I felt like there would be a line for the bathrooms. I took a 10 minute shower, brushed my teeth, used my face wipes then went back to my room, and got dressed. Knowing my mom she'll want me dressed up the whole time grandma and grandpa are here.

I looked through the clothes Stacy brought over yesterday I picked out a blue denim off the shoulder dress with white ruffles.

I put on black Platform high heel boots that were almost knee-high.

I put my hair up again since my grandparents liked it I kinda wanted to do my natural hair for a while now but my mom says I can't pull it off and says only really beautiful women can.

I go back to the bathroom plug in the flat iron and wait till it is hot then straighten my hair and put it up.

I unplug the flat iron then go back to my room and get my stuff ready after that I go downstairs and get a bagel. "Hello, my beautiful grandbaby." My grandma says as she walks over to me while I work on my bagel.

"Hi Grandma." She gives me a kiss on the forehead and goes over to the fridge.

"Is that all you're going to eat for breakfast?" She asked and I nodded. "Really Naomi sure you don't want to pick a different answer." I looked at my food and then looked at her.

"I was just going to eat this till the food was ready." I said and she nodded. I sat down and ate my bagel.

After everyone was dressed and ready Grandma started making food. I was worried I might be late for school. "Okay, food is ready." We all went to the kitchen and got our food then started eating.

We talked about school, made plans for birthdays, and more. There was a knock on the door and Amber kicked me telling me she wanted me to answer it.

I got up and answered the door. There stood Christopher. Why was he here? "Hey I wanted to know-" I looked at him confused why did he stop talking?

"Christopher? Hello, you there buddy?" I waved my hand in his face and poked his face till he snapped out of it.

"What are you wearing?" He asked I looked down at my outfit and smiled. "Do you like it?" I asked he nodded kinda slowly which was really weird.

"Christopher why are you here?" I asked. "Oh um, I wanted to know if you needed a ride to school." I wasn't expecting him to offer after I just left with Toby yesterday.

I was going to just beg Amber to let me in the car. "Oh a y-yeah I do." I went back to the dining room. "Who was it?" My dad asked. "Oh my friend Christopher I gotta go." I got my stuff I had set down by me and left.

We got in his car and he drove us to school. When we got there and were parked we got out and went looking for our friends. We met up with them inside.

"Naomi you look so cute." Stacy said running up to me and hugging me. "Thanks again for the clothes Stacy." I said. "No problem girly." She said.

"So you're the one who gave her these types of clothes?" Christopher asked. "Yeah she said she needed dresses, skirts nice looking shirts, and since I don't think any of you own any of them I gave her some stuff I can't fit anymore."

Carter walked over to me and put on an oversized all-black jacket on me. "Just in case you start feeling uncomfortable." He said and I nodded.

I got a few things out of my locker and me and Stacy started walking. She dropped me off at my class.

We would sometimes walk with each other so we could talk away from the guys. I always enjoyed it. It was always great being with her.

Stacy was the kind of girl I always hoped to be. She was pretty, people all over the school liked her, she could talk to anyone with confidence in her voice and she knew how to handle herself when it came to conflict.
