No longer Invisible

Chapter 8

Naomi P.O.V Next week 

The weekend and so far this week have been fun the guys make my life better but sadly my family should be coming back soon. I know Trent won't be happy about me hanging out with his friends so I'm going to have to stop.

"Hey guys we have to talk." I said and they all stopped looking at the TV and looked at me. "We can no longer be friends." I said and I could see the sadness in all their eyes.

"Why not?" Toby asked he looked like he wanted to cry. "Well Trent won't be happy knowing I'm friends with you guys and he knew you all before I did so it's only fair that I stop." I said looking down at my hands not wanting to face them. 

"Naomi who cares what your brother thinks he's not the boss of us so we will continue to be your friends no matter what." Christopher said and I smiled at them they are truly the best. 

"Okay then now we should get to school." I said and we all walked to Christopher's car lately he's been driving all of us to school because Sunday Carter put a big dent in the side of one of his doors so it's getting fixed, Toby was being dumb and now his car is also getting fixed.

When we got to school people looked at us as we got out of Christopher's car. Lately, I've noticed people staring at me at school I think it's because of the guys but I still don't really don't like it.

Getting attention was never my thing it made me uncomfortable and the guys started to notice this so Carter started glaring at people and a lot of them stopped staring. "Thanks Carter." I whispered to him and he nodded.

"I'll see you guys later I need to get to my locker." I said and walked away as I was walking I could feel people looking at me some were even pointing at me. When I got to my locker a group of girls were there.

"Um excuse me but my locker is behind you." I said and they all moved out of the way but after I opened my locker and got the books I turned around and saw that they were still there.

"Are you new here?" Asked one of the girls I remember having her in a class last year but I don't remember her name. "Um no I've been going here since freshman year." I said 

"So why haven't I ever seen you before?" The leader of the group I guess asked and I shrugged even though I knew the reason it was because I was invisible before I met the guys now people notice me.

"Well I feel like I would remember you but anyways my name is Stacy and you are?" She asked and I told her my name. "Naomi that's a pretty name." She said and she and her friends walked away I got my stuff from my locker.

When I turned around after closing my locker there stood Carter, Toby, and Christopher. 

I put my hand to my chest as my heart beat at a fast rate. When did they get there?

"What did they want?" Carter asked and I shrugged. "They were at my locker and they asked me a few simple questions." I said and we walked away the whole time we were walking Toby complained about how me and Christopher had a class together.

When we got to my and Christopher's class Christopher pretty much pushed me into the room when Toby tried to hug me. "Shouldn't you be heading to class?" He asked Toby who walked away but he looked kinda sad.  

"Christopher why did you do that?" I asked and he didn't say anything he just shrugged and sat down and I sat down next to him. "I wanted to hug him too." I said and he looked down at me and I looked up at him.

I hate that they are all taller than me especially Cater he's like 6 feet and I'm 5'6 I have to look up at them even when I'm sitting next to them.

"You can hug him the next time you see him." He said and I was going to say something but the teacher walked in and talked about the project we would be starting soon. 

Skip to Afterschool

Me and the guys went to my house after school we couldn't think of anything fun to do after so we just went back to my house. When we got home I saw my dad's car I was happy that they were back then I remembered that also meant that Trent was back.

When we walked into the house everyone was in the living room and we walked in they looked at us. "What are you guys doing here did you hear I was back?" Trent asked and they all shook their heads no and Trent looked confused I noticed Lilly looking at me.

"We've been hanging out with Naomi but since you are all back we'll leave." Toby said and then ran upstairs Amber looked confused and I was trying to think of a lie but Cater said something before I could.

"We've been staying here with her so he went to go get our stuff." He said and Trent looked at me and he looked really pissed off.

After the guys left I tried running upstairs but was stopped by Lilly and Amber they stood in front of the stairs.

"Naomi why were you with your brother's friends?" My dad asked and I didn't say anything and just looked down at the floor after a few seconds I looked up at them and just as I was about to say something Trent slapped me.

"Answer them why were you with my friends?" He asked in such a calm voice and it scared me I still didn't say anything I just wanted to go up to my room and cry.

"I bet she was sleeping with them." Lilly said and I turned around to see her and Amber smiling. "I wouldn't be surprised." Trent said and it took so much in me not to just start crying right now but I didn't I shoved Lilly and Amber out of the way and ran to my room and cried. 

I hate my family and they hate me and I'm fine with that I don't need them I'm sick of them I wish I had gotten a different family so I wouldn't be stuck with them. After crying I changed and went to bed wishing things could be different. 

When I woke up I went straight to the bathroom not caring that my sisters had to wait. I took a shower and did my hair kinda I just brushed it, put my hair products in, and put it in a ponytail, then I brushed my teeth and washed my face.

When I walked out of the bathroom everyone looked mad but I didn't care I just smiled and walked to my room. I got dressed and got everything I needed then went downstairs and waited. When all my siblings were ready to go we went to Amber's car and when I was about to get in the car Lilly shut the door and locked to door.

Lilly rolled down the window and laughed at me. "You can walk Naomi you kinda need it." She said and she, Amber, and Trent laughed. I was just going to walk back inside when I heard a horn beep I looked around and saw Christopher's car.

"Naomi do you need a ride?" He asked and I nodded my head yes and walked to his car and got in. I knew Trent would be even more mad but it's not my fault they wouldn't let me into the car. 

We picked up Toby since his car still needed to be fixed and went to school. When we got out of the car I saw a bunch of girls around Carter I couldn't help but glare at them.

We walked over to Carter's car when he saw me he smiled and all the girls looked me and glared and I hated it. I don't care if they glare at me without me knowing but now I know they are.

"Carter come on we have to go." Toby said and Carter rolled his eyes we started to walk away but Carter didn't follow us or at least I didn't see him follow us I looked behind me and his chest was right in my face I looked up to see him looking down at me then I turned my head around.

When we got to my locker there was Trent I just ignored him and got whatever I needed and put away whatever I had too.

"So how much did she pay you guys?" Trent asked and they looked at him. "Because there is no way any of you would really want to be even near her." He said.

Carter balled up his fist I grabbed his hand and he closed his eyes and walked away once I let go of him.

"Come on Naomi let's get to class and Trent be nice to her she's your sister." Toby said and we walked away.
