No longer Invisible

Chapter 1

Naomi P.O.V

"Naomi hurry just because people don't care if you show up doesn't mean they won't care if we do" I heard my older sister say as I was doing my hair and I just rolled my eyes as if I care.

 I walked out and I saw my parents they looked angry. "Nicole you may not matter but your brother and sisters do so hurry." Said my father.

Wow just wow he can't even remember my name, they don't even remember I exist unless I'm ruining something for their precious darlings who are actually ass hats. "I'm finished so let's go."

I said and putting my head down as my father glared at me, it wasn't always like this when I was younger they loved all four of us then around the time I was five things started to change. 

My older sister Amber started competing in beauty pageants then my sister Lily but, when I tired I just could never get the hang of it which made them feel like they were more beautiful since I never won one, then there's my brother Trent who is really smart he started doing way better in school then any of us so I tried to be at least as smart as him but I wasn't so my parents thought I was dumb. 

My parents were so focused on my siblings that they completely forgot about me because I wasn't good at anything that would get their attention.

"Naomi stop day dreaming and get in the car if you mess up my perfect attendance I will fight you." Lily said hold up her fist and growling at me I hurried into the back.

On the way there it was really quiet and I hated it every time I tried to talk Trent looked at me and I could see he was annoyed so I didn't say anything.

Once we got to the school all of us got out of the car I was going to thank Amber for the ride but, she was heading towards her friends. The last time I talked to any of my siblings while they were near their friends my mom and dad grounded, me saying I had emotionally scared them.

 I went to my locker as I was putting my history book away someone accidentally hit me with their bag and didn't even notice it. 

To people at this school I'm completely invisible and I don't mind it I was never one who liked attention from strangers. 

While walking to my class I see my older sister Amber with some guy. Even though I don't like attention from strangers I wouldn't mind having his attention but sadly a guy like him wouldn't want a plain and boring girl like me. 

As I'm thinking about me and this random guy together I hear the warning bell and started to run to my class not trying to be late. I luckily made it just in time before the door could close. I went to my seat and listened to the teacher while taking notes.

Time skip to lunch because nothing is going on

After my sixth period I went to lunch which was my second favorite class not because of the food but because I get to eat outside. It's nice since I'm the only one who does it so I'm alone. I enjoy being alone sometimes. 

When I got to my spot I saw a group of guys smoking I was going to just sit down and hope they would leave but I decided not to and went to a different spot as I was walking away I felt weird but just ignored it and kept walking.

My new spot was okay not as good but it will do for now some people might think only a loser would sit outside while everyone else is with their friends. I find this better though. 

As I'm eating I start to hear voices and I get up and walk towards the voices I looked around the corner and saw the guys who took my spot one of them was really cute as I was walking away I walked into a trash can and fell. I got up and the guys walked right passed me. 

"I thought I heard something but there's nothing or no one here." I heard one say and I just stayed there. I know I'm practically invisible to the human eye but how didn't they see me. I like it this way sometimes but it hurts at times like this.

At home

I finally got home Amber left school without telling me so I didn't try getting on the school bus and I missed the city bus so I had to wait for the next one which. 

Once I walked in I didn't hear anything. "Is anyone home?" I asked and I still heard nothing I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they left me behind to go somewhere it wouldn't be the first time. 

I just went to my room and connected my phone and my speaker and blasted my music no one was here so I doubt anyone will care. After all that waiting I must have gotten tired because I fell asleep.

When I woke up I was screaming I had a nightmare that I don't want to ever think about again. I noticed my music was still playing but I didn't turn it off. I went downstairs to get something to eat.

I was making a delicious sandwich when someone starts knocking and sadly I'm still the only one home. I suck at talking to people it's always awkward.

I tried ignoring them but they kept knocking and knocking so I just decided to answer.

"If you are looking for one of my sisters their not home." I said yelling over my music as I walked to the door and saw this really hot guy.

"No I'm actually here about the music." He said and I felt a little embarrassed I had completely forgot about the neighbors.

"I am so sorry um I'll um j-just turn it down." I said stuttering I've never really talked to guys I'm sixteen and the only time I talk to guys who aren't in my family is when I go to a restaurant and talk to the waiter about my order or my male teachers and even then I'm still nervous to talk to them.

"Thanks." He said and walked away he looked so good I wish I could've continued the conversation but I suck at that stuff. I just closed the door and run upstairs just incase anyone else had a problem with the music. 

I turned around I saw the guy out my window he went in my next door neighbors house. I've never seen him because I think I would remember seeing someone as good looking as him next door to me.

It's not like it would matter guys never go for me so I doubt this one will. I went back to making my sandwich as I was putting the finishing touches when my parents and siblings came in.

"Oh Grace we're so sorry we forgot about you." My mother said trying to sound apologetic but sounded more fake I mean she could've at least tried for my name.

"Naomi mom." I said walking away with my sandwich as I looked at all the bags my sisters had and the new things my brother had. I just had my sandwich and juice as I walked upstairs.

 I just put my head down and made my way to my room and stayed up there not wanting to see them and it's not like they would notice if I wasn't around. Why does my life have to suck so much I just hope when my sisters graduate things will be different here.
