Curious Adventurer

Deja vu. A feeling of having already experienced the present situation. Lying on a bed, millions of thoughts refusing to let her sleep. It happened again, and again.

But this time it was much different. It really was.

Pennie's was perfect. Pennie was kind. Pennie was curious. Pennie was always right. Pennie was nothing but the best.

Pennie is imperfect. Pennie is evil. Pennie is informed. Pennie is wrong. Pennie is everything but the best.

Her life has turned upside down.

She was mad at her mother for being a criminal, but she is now. She's a murderer. How hypocritical.

The fear of guilt layed on the bed before her. Running away and pretending like it never happened was the best choice of all. Her mother not being there anymore will not bring back the passed.

She never realized that she would actually do it.

Curious, curious Pennie. How does the curse of the Curious Adventurer hit you?

Penelope Jones. You let your mother's body stay in the middle of nowhere after you ended her life. How does the world feel now, Pennie?

Her mother, may have done a lot of horrible things, but did she really deserve to die?

The people who have been killed will not come back to life even after what Pennie did. Was it really worth it?

The world is just an endless loop. What you do affects other people. What other people do affects you. Is that what really justice is?

Did Pennie really do it for the people? Or was she just way too curious? Did she really get pushed that hard to do this?

Questions, and no answers. Pennie's mind is filled with it, thinking gave it's consequences.

She tried going to sleep, but more thoughts just kept on making her stay awake. It's been quite a while since she had an actual great sleep like she had before. The past few days, most of the time, she couldn't fall asleep, because of thinking.

Steeping with guilt, it seemed like everytime the digital clock made a sound that a new hour was given, she thought of a new question, a new thought, to think about the next hour.

She fell asleep eventually, but who knows how tomorrow will greet the curious adventurer.
