"Yes." Completely ignoring how she questioned her reality for a second, Pennie answered. She needed to talk to the man, and she is doing so, probably too improperly.

"What is it?" Dr. Richardson questions Pennie for her barely uttered answer.

"I need help from you. You have to help me to not get caught. All my friends are crying. I'm crying. Everybody is worried that someone might kill them. I don't want to get caught, please. I am all shame and guilt. I deserve to go to jail, but I do not, I really do not want to rot in it. I don't know what will happen to me. I don't know anything about the law. I don't know. I just don't. You've got to help me. If I didn't murder my mother this wouldn't have happened. You've got to, you really do."

Words rush out of the little guilty girls mouth with no stuttering; she didn't know what to say next but she keeps on talking somehow. She really doesn't want to face the consequences of her actions, that's why more suffering may come.

"You've thought about telling the police about me haven't you? " Dr. Richardson asks her, seemed like he knows all her actions and thought. He was right. It had crossed Pennie's mind already. And she did think of it as a concrete plan.

"Pennie, you'd still be the one who killed your mother, right? Even if that happens, it won't. I do not exist. I am dead in records. If you've told someone I convinced you to murder you're mother, no one would believe you, you'd be the crazy child who blamed it on a dead man. If you told them the we were here, we'd be out of here before you realize. Even though you've told them it was me, who am I? What's my full name?
You will never be able to get past me. "

Pennie had no chance against this man. She was just herself, he had nothing, but he did have the world behind him. He was there already, even before she even was thinking of going. If she fought against this man, and tell the police the truth, she would just make a bad liar. She was the one who killed her mother, that's no one actions but her, there seemed to be no point in her plans anymore.

Now that Pennie's plans were completely disregarded and greatly decried at, she didn't know what exactly her next step was. She could hide from the truth more, but she doesn't know if she could get through each and every obstacle she has to go through all throughout the investigation process.

"Why don't we go outside, and look at the crime scene?" Dr. Richardson asks. Pennie actually thought of doing so, she just needed to finish her talk with the man first. She answered a yes and both make their way to outside.

Outside, it was very cold. It wasn't winter, but it was very windy, Pennie liked it when it was windy, it seemed to have gave her a smile. Dr Richardson was behind her, following her, looking at the trees around the place, looking into the moon too. A girl's voice was heard by the two.
