What To Do?

"What is it?" Pennie told Johnny she was going to say something to him; she seems to have lost control of herself. She just suddenly said it, tried to stop herself but in none of her plans did she tell Johnny. She hasn't told him yet which makes Johnny feel worried about her. "Pennie?"

"I-" She stops herself from saying anything to him. She has to speak of it somehow, but obviously not this way. Johnny will be put in harms way if she says a single thing about everything to him.

"I broke my mom's vase. You've got to help me." Thoughtless, mindless lies are all she could tell. Although it did help her a bit; seeing that Johnny breathe the same sigh as her mother did.

There are two parts of Pennie now. One who's trying to break free from whatever she is stuck in, and one who just wants to do what she has to do. She wants to run away and pretend like she doesn't know a thing, but people who have suffered makes Pennie feel like she, even if she was not at fault, has to do something about it.

"You made me worry. Do you need help cleaning it up?" If it was Abigail, she would tell her that she should own up to it, as she should, but a normal child would be scared to tell their mother. If it was Lucy she told it to, she would tell her that she was clueless. But Johnny was different to Pennie, maybe it was because he was one of the few males she talks to.

"No, I already did. I just need a reason for it to magically happen." They both giggle at the idea of it.

"Well you could tell her that it just fell, you know... Air..... pressure. " He wasn't the brightest of the pack, but it could be a possibility, which they both knew.

"Yeah. Air, what an evil thing." Pennie says, making a joke that made the pair giggle.

It was now time to go to sleep, the light were turned off and the pair said goodbye to each other already. Evidently, the same thing would happen to Pennie; she would overthink everything, only this time it is much worse since there are awfully many more things that happened.

It would have been such a lovely day if it wasn't for the discovery of such crimes. Johnny's mother, Mrs. Leyton, cooked savory chicken pasta and baked her iconic chocolate chip cookies. Mr. Leyton, her husband, was watching from the television while taking care of Johnny's baby brother, Jackson. Johnny helped with both duties but was out for a little while to buy things for school homework that he should have finished days ago.

Johnny was already asleep, everyone else was. A while ago before bed, Pennie had a peek of through windows and saw that all lights of all the houses in her sight were turned off. Everyone was asleep, it was the perfect time for Pennie to do something, only she doesn't know what it is to do.

What is justice truly? Is it revenge? Or is it payment? Is it truly 'an eye for an eye'? The idea Pennie had of justice was quite right to some, but harming her mother is not a choice she would decide on. Running away wasn't a choice either, many were hurt already, and she might be able to get away with her now newly found knowledge but guilt will always fill her. She steal money from her mother and go miles and miles away but guilt will always get there first.

She doesn't know what to do, she had the whole day to think it out already but clueless was she still.

After a while of thinking, she decided to get an idea from the person who has given her all her worries. The doctor. She's still in denial of him, not only as a father, but also about his claims which are evidently true.

Pennie got her back pack and opened the windows and snuck out through it, Johnny's room is on higher floor of the house. Luckily, there was a tree that Pennie can use to go down with. She got a few little cuts from the tree, but she was used to it and she was more determined to find out what she could do while she can.

Walking fast, Pennie was trying not to accept the fact that she was tired from it. She was more determined than she yesterday, much more than she has ever been.

A striking feeling hits her chest, it was emotional but it felt physical to her. She wanted to cry as hard as she can, she was feeling all emotions but she was trying to compose herself for all and all.

She got all the feelings for she was greeted again by the two-way that always felt like two-choices. Of course, she chose left. It wasn't right, and it wasn't right at all; she now knows for she made a big mistake.

Pennie remembers how Abigail told her as much as she can that she shouldn't go. She should've listened. Curiosity is perceived as great, Pennie was too, but she felt like it was wrong assumptions now.

Now, she again has reached the door of the weird building, still regretting her choices but still walking because she has no other choice.

"Paul?" She asks, trying to locate wherever her 'twin' is. She walks further to the stairs she has fell into just before today's sunset. She went down the stairs already and opened the door which she feared awhile ago.

"Paul is sleeping now, Pennie." She was greeted by the doctor laying a blanket on top of 'Paul'. He was so gentle to him, but the look of the building was horrendous. It still makes her wonder but she still had something so much more important to talk about."It's night time, you should be asleep."

"Yeah, me, sleeping." Pennie was offended, her experience with this man has lead her to having a hard time sleeping. The man smirks for a bit, due to her irritated look.

"What do you want?" The doctor asks her.

"What's your name?" Pennie asks, completely disregarding the questions she had planned to ask first.

"Dr. Richardson." He says, not looking at Pennie because he was going out of the room and was already climbing up the stairs.

"You, Doctor Richardson, are a very evil man. You are a liar, you are not my father, do not ever talk to me. Don-Don't even breath another breathe."

"Well, you are very irritated." He giggles at her.  "But I am very much your father."

"That is not true." She shouts at him." My father is dead. My mother said so." She says, this time calmer but not calm at all.

"Don't scream, you'll wake your brother. She told you that but why'd you believer her so easily? I got the other twin." He looks back and comes towards her, kneels and holds her both her cheeks with both hands. "Pennie, you're a smart child, think."

"What do I do to my mother?"
