Pennie came home already. Still happy, after seeing the beauty of the world today. She went inside of Johnny's room and Mrs. Leyton and the rest of the family except the father, was still in there. Johnny had not talked the whole day, he started crying, Pennie doesn't know when it started.

Mrs. Labret gave him some water from on top of Johnny's lamp stand. He didn't drink at all, so it spilt on his clothing. Pennie went towards the two, trying to find something to dry Johnny with.

"Why don't we change into your favorite pajamas? The one you and Pennie both have."

That one thing, the one thing she said she would do today, the most important of all things. Pennie had to get out of this, or what happened last night might happen again. Everytime things like this happen, Pennie really had to go against herself.

Mrs. Leyton made Johnny stand up, on their way to the closet he would change in. Pennie needed to stop them from doing this, she can't think of anything except crying.

Fake crying was hard to do, especially if you are extremely pressured to, it was hard for her. Really hard. She needed to take Mrs. Leyton's attention, and make her forget about all this before letting her in the closet.

"Mrs. Leyton," Pennie tries to get the woman's attention.

"Yes Pennie?" The woman turned her back to the little child, who's expressions suddenly change to a sad one.

"Will Johnny ever be normal again?" Pennie asks, trying to shake her voice. Mrs. Leyton walked towards her, making Johnny wait on the bed, making him sit for a while.

"Of course he will. Maybe not today, but we'll find a way." She knelt down in front of Pennie, and touched her cheek with soft, loving hands. She gave her a smile which indicated effort to comfort her, but then gets right up after doing so.

Turns out, it was not enough for them to stop getting into the closet. She needed to think of something. But there was nothing anymore. Any effort to try to stop them would make it too obvious that she was hiding or plotting something.

The two went inside the closet, Pennie tried stopping them but stopped after the first step. She tried but she can't. Everything felt like it was going slow, everything felt like nothing was real. She took a deep breathe, struggling in the inside, she felt that stuck feeling inside her chest. Watching everyone in the room, thinking. What would happen to her after them finding the clothes. Realizing that she was actually about to lose everything. Realizing that she was going to have to really face the consequences of her actions. Accepting everything. Every second, every breathe she took everytime the two took a step, was her possible last ones that had some peace in it.

"Why don't we just use this blue one?" Pennie got out of her head and tried taking in what Mrs. Leyton just said. "I can't find the other one."

Turns out she hid the clothing well enough to not be seen, and for Mrs. Leyton, a meticulous woman, to stop looking for it after a few seconds.

Pennie almost started crying after realizing what it would've been. The two closed the door for the child to change. Pennie wasn't seen by the two. She sat on her bed, thankful for everything, breathing better than she was.

Mrs. Leyton and Johnny went out of the closet, and both saw how Pennie looked. She had a waterfall in her face but no water falling out.
Mrs. Leyton rushed to Pennie, hugging her.

"C'mon, we'll all go down, and I'll cook some food. You kids need to eat." Still holding the two kids that was traumatized, she lead them down the stairs. Pennie tried stopping crying to not worry anyone, but emotions fill her up again.

She was that guilty, filled-with-shame child. Before, it was fine. Now, it's not. Maybe this will repeat forever now, Pennie reckoned. With the circumstances, she felt stuck in a loop with no door to get out with.

Mrs. Leyton cooked up some food, Pennie found out that it was the perfect time to throw away the clothing.

"Mrs. Leyton, I'm going to change first."

Pennie got up the stairs, went inside the closet and found out that the pajamas she had hidden were not in the place she had put in. She started worrying, not caring for the other clothing, only trying to look for one pattern. She got so worried, she didn't even see that she scratched herself with the hooks on the side of the closet.

Pennie got out of the closet, opening the door, reckoning that she could just pretend she doesn't know what is currently happening.

Johny was right there, standing. Holding up the pajamas Pennie had hidden, her blood dried up all over it. He looked at her with a different look in his eye, awhile ago he seemed so traumatized, now, he looks like someone who's threatening and questioning Pennie.

"Johnny," Pennie's voice was shaking but she utters out. "give me the pajamas."

She reaches out her hand to him, she walks slowly to him, hoping that he would give it. Johnny still can't talk, but he can move, before Pennie could reach for the clothing, he put his hand down, making it go away from her.

"Johnny." Pennie threatens him.

"Give it back to me!" She says. Pennie aggressively walked towards him, getting the clothing away from him.

Johnny fell to the floor after Pennie's harsh actions, he tried holding on to the clothing but Pennie was stronger, given his current situation.
Johnny looked at her, looking like he knew what was happening.

"Did you see it? Or did you just think of it?" Pennie asks Johnny, sounding like she ahd the upper hand. "If you didn't see, I can tell you."
