The boat rocked back and forth in a steady pace. Alex took me to a little room in the boat. It had a small couch with a coffee table in the middle. In the corner I can see the door to the bathroom and in another corner I can see a fridge and a sink. It was like a mini boat house. I could just live here if the conversation with Alex goes wrong. I heard the door close behind him. Panic built up in my stomach. I didn't know what to think. I didn't know what the others would think about this. I feared he was going to tell me we couldn't be friends or something. He must have noticed the guilt and pain in my face. He sighed after a few seconds of awkwardness. He opened his mouth to speak but then closed them. Then once again he opened them and finally spoke.

"The ring." All my worry went away with two words. "Are you sure you don't know who gave it to you?" He looked up at me and asked me. I became relieved, it wasn't something bad after all. It was just about a ring I had no idea of. It was in one of my forbidden memories. I can't seem to remember anything from my previous life prior to this. How should I know about a ring that belonged to that. I shrugged in the only way I could reply. He seemed dissatisfied with the answer. He sighed and looked away from me.

"No I don't. I really really don't." I glanced at my hand where the ring was. I must have sounded genuine because he just took his chain out with his ring and he took the ring off the chain. He examined it for a while. He didn't speak to me. He must have been so happy yet a bit sad. He looked at me and then he looked down at the ring. He looked at mine too. "What? What's going on in your mind?" I ask him.

"If Daisy told me was true.." He began to speak. "Then the fates must have brought us together for a reason." My cheeks turned a soft shade of pink. "I mean, there must be a reason to this. My great grandfather died in World War 2, his ring went with him. Well, we thought it went with him." He looks at my hand. "Yet here it is." He grabbed my hand to get a better look. He doesn't seem so happy. He must have been a bit hurt about it too. "What exactly do you remember?" His eyes gave me a small plea of hope. The anxiousness of his eyes made me feel guilty that I knew nothing. He must have realized because his eyes darted down and he closed them. A tear was about to run down his cheek but he instantly caught it. He took a step back while sighing. "When, and if you remember anything please tell me." He requested. I nodded, it seemed the best thing to do. We stood there staring into each others' eyes.

"Your eyes. They are like different colors of brown." He told me softly. He kept looking into them. My cheeks became rosy red now, I could feel it. His brown eyes sparkled a bit.

"Is that bad?" I asked softly. My heart began to race. He shook his head.

"They are actually nice." He got close again. He put some of my hair behind my ear. "Normally children of hades have black or near black eyes.. Yours are nice." His hand cuffed my jaw bone. He leaned in closer, making my heart skip. 'How did I get here? What led to this?' I looked down and began to wonder. This was my first kiss, or so I hope. He was really close to my lips until we heard the door close. Which was weird since we didn't hear it open.

"Alex? Michelle?" Daisy's voice cracked to life. Alex jumped and instantly pulled back. She stared at us in horror. My heart sunk fifty levels down. I felt like just disappearing into the darkness again, I wanted to shadow travel away from here. I had a really strong feeling that I could shadow travel from here. But where would I go? I only know camp half-blood. No where else. She finally spoke up. "We're here." She growled and walked off in tears. Her shoes clucked on the wood of the boat as she stomped away. Alex ran after her.

"Wait! Daisy! Stop!" He called out for her.
