I told Alex my dream. From the familiarity to the sound of a gun shot. He was actually a really great listener. He would stare at me and nod whenever I paused. He wanted me to tell him more and more. I had to push down the urge to blush because his eyes were very captivating. Once I was finished he put his hand on my shoulder. I didn't know what to expect with him. "It's ok." He said calmly. I started to cry again when I told him I heard the gun shot and some screaming. "It's probably the ghosts here that made the screaming." He says, but even I knew that was a lie and I was pretty sure he knew it too.

"I'm just... Scared." I mumbled to him. "I think I know why Nico doesn't want me to remember.." Alex placed his hands under my jawbone. My past must have been very bad that he didn't want me to know it.

"Don't think like that. It's not like anything bad really happened." He looked at me with a slight smile. He wiped my tears away.

"But i-" I was about to start crying again when I felt his lips press onto mine. I was really surprised that he did. I felt a tear fall from my eyes. But I had a feeling I just wanted him to be quiet. Once he pulled back could see his face was red. I felt myself instantly become red too.

"Whoa.. So uhh.." I blush nervously. I giggled a bit but was interrupted by a scream. A girl's scream. I instantly latched onto Alex out of frieght.

"Daisy?" I heard Alex whisper in fear. "Daisy!!" He shouted to the hallway of darkness.

"Are you sure it's her?" I ask. I felt a bit jealous that he still cared for her. After we had just had our first kiss, he seemed more concerned for Daisy. 'I guess he likes her more.' I thought. It made me regret liking him. I felt like I was just here to be his toy. Does he like me or not?

He got up. "We need to find them!" He said in concern. I stood up with him and we both ran in the direction of the scream.

We ran together. But it felt awkward just being together. I couldn't think straight. Has this happened to me before? Have I liked a guy in my previous life and he treated me like this. I looked at where Alex would be running at. I couldn't help but regret my decisions. Why did I have to invite him. I don't know what to do anymore. I know our objective, but why must I like this person? I begin to slow down. I hear his feet tapping farther and farther. I slow down by a lot. I just listen to his feet going farther until I heard a few more. 'Huh?' I hear Alex's feet stop.

"You aren't going any farther." A voice ahead of us growled. A humanoid figured began to walk towards us. A limp in the walk too. I see a torch with them so I was able to make out two dog like figures. 'Hellhounds.' I instantly thought. Once we could see them I saw the humanoid. He was green with scales and a spear.

"What the hades?" I arched an eyebrow staring at the person. Alex must have started too. We look at each other. He had a seaweed skirt. We both instantly started laughing. The creature looked at us in either fear or confusion. But we still kept on laughing.

"What is so funny?!" The humanoid glared at us. We pointed to his skirt. He looked down and then felt a great ping of embarrassment. He looked at us with a shy smile but then glanced over to the Hellhounds. He cleared his throat. "Well stop laughing! This is a custom where I come from!"He growled. He raised a sword. The Hellhounds became more hostile. I clicked my pen. Alex brought out his sword. The Hellhounds lunged for Alex. I went straight for the guy. "Hey! You are suppose to go for the hounds! Not me!" He shouted in a bit of horror. He seemed to be very new to this.

"Well I don't like to play by the rules!" I smirked. I felt myself get stronger with his fear. I slashed at the right and the guy barely managed to counter it. I dodge rolled to his left to slash upwards. He didn't realize until it was a bit too late. He moved a bit only. That gave me a chance to only scratch him. He didn't know what hit him but he screamed in pain. "Tell me who are you working for?!" The guy fell to the floor. "And what are you?" I growled. The Hellhounds stopped attacking Alex and started at me. They just started. That gave Alex a chance to defeat them.

"Ahh!" The guy panicked as he saw his teammates disintigrate. "Ok! Ok! I am a Merman... Go to Hart's Island.. You'll get your answers! Just please..." He began to beg and I felt my smile get bigger. I raised my sword even higher. He panicked more. "Please!!" He cried more. I was about to attack him but I heard Alex shout at me.

"Michelle!" Alex shouted. I snapped out of it. I stared down at the Merman. "What are you doing?" I shrugged. This gave a chance to the Merman to run. He got up and took off. He was dropping what seemed to be blood. He left his torch down. Then we hear footsteps getting closer and closer to us. Alex raised his sword. I was too in shock to raise my sword. What was I just doing? The footsteps were very close now. "Whos there?!"

"Stand down!" We heard Percy shout. Alex was startled but still kept his sword up.

"How can I tell if you aren't a cyclops?!" Alex shouted back.

"You have a point and a reason to be worried." Then we saw Percy walk into the light. "But luckily it is actually me." His hands were risen.

Alex lowered his sword. "Thank the gods it is actually you!" Alex was happy. "Where's Daisy?"

Percy's smile faded into a soft look of concern. "We were attacked..." He looked down.

"What?! Is she hurt?! Why did you leave her?!" Alex instantly became mad. Percy shook his head.

"She's fine... One just took her away. We were attacked by a pack of Hellhounds." Percy explained. Alex instantly calmed down.

"Us to. Two Hellhounds and a Merman." Alex became confused and Percy panicked.

"A merman?!" He looked at Alex. They both forgot I was there.

"Hart's Island." I said. They both jumped in fear.

"What?" Percy looked at me. I looked straight up at him. I don't know what he saw but he was terrified.

"That's where we must go." I stood up. And walked past them. Percy was stunned and so was Alex. They quietly followed me. I couldn't understand what was going on with me. But I kept walking.
