Early Morning
Tristan de Martel went to check his expensive gold watch and realized that he didn't have it anymore. Elijah had cautioned Tristan, his sister Aurora, and Lucien not to bring expensive items. They were advised to try to act as human teenagers as much as possible. Of course, regular teens didn't need blood to survive, but he understood where the Original vampire was coming from.
"Where did Lucien go?" Tristan muttered to himself. He and the other male member of the so-called Trinity, the first vampires sired by the Original vampire family, had a love-hate relationship. For a hundred years, they had fled Mikael, the vampire-who-hunted-vampires thinking that they were Elijah and Niklaus Mikaelson. When that compulsion was broken, they were left feeling deceived and bitter. For the next centuries, they plotted revenge. But now, Elijah had compelled them to behave themselves and re-format their lives as prep school students. Tristan was excited in that he thought maybe this would be a way for his dear sister Aurora to heal and have a future. The Originals, with their witch sister and many allies, were just too strong to kill. If you cannot beat them, join them, so the saying went.
Tristan looked at the electric alarm clock and realized that it was getting late. He did not want to be caught breaking any rules as yet. If Lucien got into trouble that was on him.
Tristan slipped into his bed and shut his eyes. These sheets were rough and not the luxury quality he had grown used to as the leader of the Strix, but they were clean and cool. He would have to lower his standards a great deal now, he realized as he fell asleep.
Lou walked a now chastised Lucien into the dorm room. It was large and could probably fit two more single beds in, but with enrollment so low, they allowed Tristan and Lucien to have double beds.
Lou steered Lucien into Tristan's bed. She noticed that Lucien's bed wasn't made up yet. She would have to keep a close eye on Lucien, it was clear he was used to another way of life.
Lucien started to balk about getting into bed with Tristan, but his still sore bottom stopped him. The head mistresses' partner had a strong hand and his backside was throbbing.
"I know this is all new to you," Lou purred. "Everything will be better in the morning after you get a good night's sleep."
She helped Lucien in on his back and then leaned down and kissed him on the forehead."Good night, Son," Lou said, pulling up the cover. Lucien felt a warmness wash through him. How long had it been since a woman he wasn't paying had kissed him? He did not recall.
"Good night," Lucien replied, shifting a little to the side to get the pressure off his rear.
"That will feel better in the morning, too. Especially once you get a little blood in you," Lou soothed.
"Yes, I imagine it will," Lucien answered. "Um, I am sorry that we caused an issue..."
Lou nodded, "All forgiven now. Go to sleep."
Lucien felt better, cleaner somehow...
Tristan stirred and groaned, "Why are you in my bed?"
Lucien smiled, "It seems I never did make up my bed. I suppose there is no maid service here."
