Morning
Jackson woke up in Lou's medical office confused.
"I had the weirdest darn dream!" Jackson said to Hayley. She looked at Lou and laughed.
"Babe, it wasn't a dream. I'm pregnant...and we have a vampire on the loose," Hayley reminded him. "Tristan and Lucien are out looking for him now. They have the other radios. Babe, just rest."
Jackson tried to sit up too quickly and got woozy. Lou helped him and handed him a bottle of cold water.
"Shit, I gotta patrol the grounds," Jackson muttered. Then, he looked at Hayley, "Baby, are you okay?"
Lou went to check on Wendy who was on the other side of a privacy curtain.
Hayley flushed, "Yeah, I'm great. But I'm just not sure this happened. We were real careful...I'm on the pill."
"But when you were kidnapped, didn't that mess you up?" Jackson prompted.
Hayley glanced over and saw that Lou was helping Wendy stand. She could only see through a crack in the drapes, but she didn't think they could hear. Hayley whispered, "Yeah, after I got back we used protection, though. Remember? We were careful, Jack."
Jackson nodded and sipped the water. "Yeah, you were super careful but they say it ain't 100%. A baby, huh?"
Hayley grinned and nodded, "Yup. Tristan was sure and Lou gave me a pregnancy test. Three in fact."
"While I was passed out? Christ, if Ollie hears of me hitting the ground like that, I'm done. Look, I'm gonna call him, we gotta hunt this thing. Is everyone on lockdown?" Jackson said, standing. "You sure you're alright?"
Hayley nodded, but for a split second, Jackson thought she looked scared. He was scared, but also excited.
He paused and took a minute to kiss and hug Hayley. "I'm happy, babe."
Hayley sniffed, "Me, too. Now, go."
Jackson thanked Lou and started out the door.
"Wait, I want to help, too," Wendy groaned. "I'm the one it attacked!"
"You okay? It was a vamp, right?" Jackson prompted.
"I'm fine now. Yeah, it was. I think he somehow used mind control on me to dig him up. I barely remember but as soon as his box was open. He made me prick my finger and drip the blood into his mouth. It revived him and he attacked me," Wendy said. "He was looking for someone!"
"Who?" Jackson asked.
"A Cassandra? He asked me if I knew her. He seemed like my age but he talked funny," Wendy recalled. "There's something else. He had a coin in his hand. I'm not sure what it was, but I couldn't defend myself with witchcraft against him."
"That's real good to know," Jackson said. "But I want you to stay here in lockdown. Look after Hayley for me, okay?"
It was hard to resist the handsome werewolf who was always so kind to everyone.
"Sure thing, Jack," Wendy said. "Be safe. I think he had a sword, too..."

Tristan was leading the expedition to find this rogue vampire. Coach Ralph and Emma had gathered up the others and taken them to a safe room behind Hayley's office. The adult quarters all were able to be locked down, but there were various safe rooms built into the school. Lucien wanted to be the leader, but Tristan pointed out that he alone had led battles in the past. Even in their human life, the son of the count was trained for combat. Lucien had just been a stableboy, not even a squire.
