I stop and look at what I drew. Glowing stones. Blue, green, orange, yellow, purple and red stones. I look up and see that the red dot is gone. It must have been someone wearing a red T-Shirt. But why rainbow stones?
I have no idea. Suddenly I see a jet flying away from the tower. Seems like the Avengers do some Avenger things. I look down again and grab my phone.
“SHIT!” I cuss and jolt up
I’m late, for the first time in days. Ms. Whitlock will be mad. UGH. I grab my backpack, put my utensils in and run off. I run to the bus station because I see the bus I have to take is there right now, meaning that I don’t have to run. I raised my hand so the bus driver would wait for me and he surprisingly did.
“Thank you” I breath and sit down on a seat
I wait till we arrive at the station near my Orphanage and get out, I run through the doors and see Me.Whitlock and Mr.Wisener standing in the hallway, talking with each other. They turn around as the door closes with a bang behind me.
“Maven-” Ms. Whitlock starts
“I’m sorry, okay? I- I didn’t notice that it got so late and when I did, I came back immediately. I’m so sorry. I’m trying, I came on time the past few days. I-” I ramble loudly
“Maven.” She says calmly and puts her hands on my shoulder, shutting me up “It’s okay. I forgive you. Mr. Wisener and I are just waiting for Ben and a few others to arrive from their school trip. I already assumed that you just forgot” She explains and smiles at me
“Right, Ben is coming today” I whisper and she gets back up on her feet
“I- Oh, here they come” Mr. Wisener interjects
The door opens after 3 minutes and Ben and 4 other kids our age walk inside. I smile when I spot Ben. He walks up to me and stops in front of me.
“Hey” I whisper
“Hi” He whispers back
I look into his blue eyes which are shining a little due to the light above him.
“Come on” He says and grabs my hand, pulling me up to our room
“Ben” I chuckle but he wont let me go
We enter the room and he lets go of me and turns the lights on. He turns around and looks at me.
“Where is my drawing?” He asked me
“What?” I question
“You said you wanted to draw me” He answers an I remember
“I said, “I think about it” I smirk
“I’m joking, come here” He mumbles and pulls me into a hug “How was school without me?” He asks as he lets go
“Boring. But Olivia leaves me alone for now. That’s good” I tell him and sit down on his bed
“What did you do to her?” He laughs and sits down next to me
“Uh, nothing bad. I didn’t kill her” I answer
“You sure?” He asks
“No” I deny and he starts laughing

Smoke forms around the red being. It’s quiet. Everyone looks up after the explosion and is stunned. The red robot looks up and meets Wanda's widened eyes. He spots Thor standing in front of him and flies at him. Thor moves aside in time and throws the robot over his shoulder and into the glass behind him. The red being stops at the window, watching the lights of Manhattan. He’s hovering over the ground, just flying there, nothing else. The Avengers go downstairs, Thor and Steve are the first one to arrive. Cap prepares to fight but before he could go on walking, Thor puts his hand up stopping him. He puts his hammer down and walks up to him as the rest of the Avengers finally arrive.
The red robot is now only red at the hands, feet and head. Seems like he changed his color to not be naked. He flies down and stops in front of everyone.
“I am sorry. That was- odd” He finishes and looks at Thor “thank you” He thanks and Thor sighs
The robot lets a golden cape appear on his back .
“Thor. You helped create this?” Steve asks
“I’ve had a vision” Thor answers “A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life, and at its center is that” He says, pointing to the gem in the head of the robot standing next to him
“What? The gem?” Bruce questions
“It’s the mind stone. It’s one of the six Infinity Stones. The greatest power in the Universe, unparalleled in its destructive capabilities”
“Then why would you bring-” Cap begins
“Because Stark is right” Thor answers, cutting Steve off
“Ohhh, it’s definitely the end times” Bruce mutters
“The Avengers cannot defeat Ultron” Thor comments
“Not alone” the robot finally joins
“Why does your Vision sound like JARVIS?” Steve asks
“We reconfigured JARVIS’s matrix” Tony begins as he and the robot circle around each other ”to create something new”
“I think I’ve had my fill of new” Steve mumbles
“You think I’m a child of ULTRON” The robot assumed
“You’re not?” asks Rogers
“I’m not Ultron. I’m not Jarvis. I am..I am.” not ULTRON stutters
“I looked in your head and saw annihilation” Wanda accuses
“Look again” the robot suggests
Barton scroffs “Her seal of approval means jack to me”
“Their powers, the horror in our heads, ULTRON himself, they all come from the Mind Stone. And they're nothing compared to what it can unleash. But with it on our side-” Thor explains
“Is it?” Steve interrupts “Are you? On our side?” He asks the red man
“I don’t think it’s that simple” He answers
“Well, it better get simple real soon” Barton hisses
“I am on the side of life. ULTRON isn’t. He will end it all” The robot admits
“What’s he waiting for?” asks Stark
“You”
“Where?” Bruce questions
“Sokovia” Clint answers his question “He’s got Nat there too”
“If we’re wrong about you, if you’re the monster thet ULTRON made you to be..” Bruce starts
“What will you do?” the robot asks
Everyone stays quiet.
“I don’t want to kill Ultron. He’s unique and he’s in pain. But that pain will roll over the Earth. So he must be destroyed. Every form he’s built, every trace of his presence on the net. We have to act now. And not one of us can do it without the others. Maybe I am a monster. I don’t think I’d known if I were one. I’m not what you are, and not what you intended. So there may be no way to make you trust me. But we need to go now” The red man explains and hands Thor his hammer which makes the already quiet environment even more quiet. Thor grabs it after a few seconds of standing still and the red worthy being walks past him. Everyone else is still standing there not knowing what to think, do or say. Thor plays with his hammer a little and smiles the pain away.
“Right. Well done” Thor says to Tony and pats his shoulder before walking after the red robot.
“Three minutes” Steve announce, getting everyone out of their trance “Get what you need” He orders and everyone walks off
