I walk down the hallway, towards my next class. Phone in my hand as I watch the news. The Avengers are still evacuating the flying city. This is worse than I expected it to be. They have no new footage because they and no other news channel wants to lose their reporters or camera people.

I sigh and continue to walk down the filled hall. Laughter, conversations, whispering, the usual. I hold onto my backpack with one of my hands and in the other is the now black screened phone. I think about what happened yesterday, I saw someone's future without drawing it…I still don’t know what’s going on, maybe I don’t even want to know but I’ll live. Hopefully.

I mean, if my powers are changing- That’s it. Before the accident, I saw the future exactly like I did yesterday when I looked into the woman's eye. Are my powers going back to normal? Like before ‘car accident’ normal.

That would mean that I’m back to the beginning. I have to learn to control my powers all over again. Not looking forward to it.

A curtain boy grabs my attention as he walks towards me with his friend on his side. I see in the corner of my eye that he is staring at me as his friend talks to him, or is trying to. I try to ignore it as I walk past them. He thinks I know something, which I do in a way but at the same time I don’t know anything. I can’t explain it. I know that the thing I predicted happened, obviously. He is stronger than before and acts weird, I also know or assume that the spider I saw bit him. But what spider would give someone strength? Not a single one I know of.

Nevermind.

I have science now.

“Today, we’ll start a new unit. Earth’s place in the Universe” Our teacher begins as we all sit down and take our books out

“What is the Universe? What are the predictable patterns caused by Earth's movement in the Solar System? These are all questions we are going to answer. Open your books on page 46 and 47 please” Mrs. Madden asks us and we do as she says. I open my book and go to page 46 and 47. I look at the page and see a picture on page 47. It shows our solar system.

“Earth's solar system is part of the Milky Way Galaxy, which is one of many galaxies in the Universe. The planet Earth is a tiny part of a vast universe that has developed over a span of time beginning with a period of extreme and rapid expansion” She begins as she does something at the computer “Earth's solar system consists of the Sun and other objects that are held in orbit around the Sun by its gravitational pull on them. Motions within the Earth-Moon-Sun system have effects that can be observed on Earth” She finishes and I see the wall turn into a screen. She clicks on a video and before she presses on play she says one last thing “Let’s give it a look. Please write down information as you watch the video”

The Sun is a star in the Milky Way galaxy located in a spiral arm about two-thirds of the way from the center of the galaxy.

Galaxies are made up of gas, dust, and billions of stars and have different shapes

Elliptical galaxy – spherical or flattened disks,

Spiral galaxy– a nucleus of bright stars and two or more spiral arms, or

Irregular galaxy– no definite shape

Because distances in space are so great that conventional numbers are too large to work with, astronomers use a unit of measurement called lightyear to measure the distance to stars and galaxies in space. The distance in one light year is equal to the distance light travels in one year.

I read over my paper as the video comes to an end.

“Okay…Who can tell me how many stars there are in the milky way? Maven” My teacher says my name

“The Milky Way has a mass of about 100 billion solar masses, which basically means there are 100 billion stars. This accounts for the stars that would be bigger or smaller than our sun, and averages them out. Other mass estimates bring the number up to 400 billion” I answer her question, I love the whole Galaxy topic, it’s interesting.

“Thank you, Maven. Okay what else did you find out about the galaxy?” She asks around the class, walking back and forth.

I look around and see a few students who raise their hands to answer her question. I wait for Mrs. Madden to choose someone “Vivien?” She asks the one girl that didn’t raise her hand but was busy talking with Olivia “Would you mind answering that?”

“Uh…” Nope, she definitely didn't pay attention to the video or Mrs. Madden

“Olivia, you?” The teacher asks

“Spiral galaxies, elliptical galaxies and ugh…irregular galaxies I think” Okay…I didn’t expect that

“That’s right. But please pay attention next time. Both of you” I hear Mrs. Madden

“Yes, Mrs. Madden” Olivia answers and the lesson continues

The blue eyes meet each other and the blonde hair falls in Pietros face.

“You didn’t see that coming” The older Maximoff jokes, pointing with his finger at Clint before he falls to the dusty ground.

Wanda’s heart ached. An indescribable feeling raced through her, like needles going stabbing in and out again and again. The air runs out in her lungs, the heirs on her whole body stand up straight. The one person who always had her back, who felt what she felt, who knew what she thought, who knew how to cheer her up, who knew what she went through, who was the only one she had left, was just taken from her. Her brother. Her twin. Her family. Her everything. Everything around her was gone, just her. An endless scream leaves her mouth, hurting her throat but she doesn’t care. How could she? There is nothing to care for anymore. She knows it. She feels it. He is dead. Wanda’s knees buckle under her, crashing down on the ground. She loses control of her powers and the red mist leaves her body, letting every robot coming through the open windows and doors smash into little pieces. Like her heart just did.

Clint lays the boy down against the car and crouches down next to Pietro as Rogers joggs towards them.

No pulse

Clint looks up at Steve and drops his head again. The little boy looks at the man in front of him. There he is, laying dead on the floor, not walking it off like Cap told them to do. Clint sighs and gets up, picking up the boy as Steve picks Pietro up. They both walk towards the ship, each of them holding a boy in their arms but one isn’t going to open his blue eyes anymore. But green ones do. Natasha’s eyes. They meet the green face of The Hulk as he lands on the carrier, laying her down carefully before jumping off and landing on the ship that ULTRON is flying.

“Oh for God's sake” ULTRON cusses before being thrown off the ship, laning in the empty train in the middle of the city.

“No, no, I’m fine” Clint tells the medic as he sits down on a seat “It’s been a long day” He adds, laying down on a three-person-seat next to the lifeless body of the speedster.
