Skylars stomach churned as she rolled, although, she didn't pay much attention to it. The only thing that ran through her mind at that moment was how thankful she was to be out of the hell hole disguised as a bag. She took deep breaths, the air flowing in and out of her lungs in a controlled matter as she continued to lay on the ground, eyes gently closed. Her fingers curled the ground, expecting to grip the carpet that filled her house, only to be met by cold tile floors.

She hadn't even noticed the uncomfortable material she had been laying on for a short time now.

Skylar cast the information aside, her mind mainly focusing on how amazing it was to be able to spread out her limbs again without burlap constraints. With one last deep breath she opened her eyes gently and was met by four faces staring back at her.

Skylar screamed in a terror induced panic and quickly zipped on top of a support beam in her view. The sturdy beam held her weight with ease as she grabbed onto a verticals section, looking over the wooden slab and down to the floor, not composed at all.

Each guardian flicked their head every which way in confusion, trying to find where the strange girl had gone. She was just laying down on the floor, seconds before and now she was nowhere to be seen. Jack, who had arrived through the portal seconds before, was the first one to find her new location, the others' gaze soon following.

"Holy shit, you almost gave me a heart attack"

All eyes locked on Skylar as she clutched at her chest, excessively deep breaths left her throat as her breathing slowly evened out. Once she had successfully gotten her heart back inside of her chest she looked around at the gaurdians who still stood staring at Skylar as if she was a headless chicken.

"Oh my god"
Skylar slid her back down along a vertical beam before ending up is a sitting position, straddling the plank she previously stood on.

As Skylar waited for her kidnappers to speak or clue her in on what was going on, her eyes danced across the large walls dawned with big windows and fairy lights. She recognized it quickly as the workshop she had watched from the outside so many times before, never daring to go in. Nothing more than focused staring through a window, and that's how she liked it. However, now it would never be the same. They knew who she was now so no more hiding. And after all of that, she only had one person to thank.

'Fuck you Jack Frost'

A sigh of annoyance left Skylars lips impulsively, though not to say that it was unwanted. The dark haired girl was swift and smooth in her actions as she caught her forged hook on the wooden beam, making sure not to dig into the firm wood. She slid down the metal chain and landed softly on the ground. Quickly, she jolted the chain up, dislodging it from its place around the wood. Skylar caught it with ease on its way down, preventing a large bang from sounding off of its impact with the floor. To anyone else, it looked as if she had done this her entire life, and she had. She had spent many days perfecting her ability to work with the tools she made, and in this new place, she couldn't have been more thankful to have done that. The familiarity of the handle's presence in her hand brought a sense of comfort in this otherwise overwhelming environment. She briefly closed her eyes and imagined herself back outside her windmill as she slipped the hook back into her belt.

"Ahhhaha! Skylar Storm I presume" A thick Russian accent filled every nook and cranny of the room as Norths booming voice sounded, his large rough hands stuck out for Skylar to shake.

"That would be me" Skylar hesitantly took the hand that had been outstretched towards her, and not a moment later was she pulled into a bone crushing hug from the large man.

Skylars hands pushed against the soft red fabric that lined North's torso in an attempt to break her body free from the tight hug. When that failed, Skylar stood inside his arms defeated, accepting her fate as the long rough beard found its resting place against her head.

After what felt like an eternity to Skylar (though was most likely less than 5 seconds), North let go of his tight grip on her, before getting back on track.

"Right!" North clapped his large hands together, a loud smack sounding around the room. "Introductions!"

"That won't really be necessary. See I-" Skylar wasn't able to finish her thought before being interrupted by North who either had not heard the girl, or had decided to ignore her.

"You know Jack" Jacks attention briefly diverted to Skylar. He gave her a quick and casual wave before going back to playing with a frozen elf.

"Unfortunately yes" Skylar mumbled to herself causing Jacks gaze to snap back up at her and a hand to be placed over his chest, feigning hurt.

"Thees ees Bunny, Tooth" North gestured to the two gaurdians separately. Bunny gave a subtle nod of recognition, firm in his footing as he leaned against a support beam, arms crossed over his chest. Meanwhile, Tooth gave an overly excited wave towards Skylar, yet still keeping her distance; Skylar was still an unknown spirit to them.

"Sandman...." North said proudly, his large hand gesturing towards the short, grainy, man. Sandy stuck out his hand upward eagerly, a smile spread across his face. Skylar crouched down a bit to meet his level before shaking his hand with a smile of her own. Her gloved hand let go as she stood up once more, bringing her gaze back to lock on north.

"And the one and only, Mr. Clause." She said, half heartedly. In reality she knew who they all were, everyone did. Even though she may not be alive and on the mortal plane, or an outgoing spirit, she knew whom everyone was. When you dance upon storm clouds it's pretty easy to watch interactions between others without being seen yourself.

She snapped out of her memory and turned her focus onto the spirits in the room, whom all seemed to be staring at her in wait.

"Why am I here?" Her question was brief and direct. Skylar didn't want to spend anymore time in the North Pole than what was required of her. The sooner this was over, the sooner she could think of ways of never being found by the spirits again.

"Oh and also, why do you have an image of me on the floor" Skylar had noticed the projection when she had first zipped to the support beam, though she had waited until now to mention it. All of the previously distracted guardians turned their focus to the image that was supposed to be the subject of this "meeting"

"We didn't do that mate" The large rabbit told Skylar, standing up from his position leaning on the support beam.

"That's from the Man in the Moon" His grayish-blue paw gestured towards the bright moon shining down through the skylight above.

Skylar looked at the moon before following its rays back to the projection. She stared deeper into it than before.

"What does he want with m-" Before Skylar could finish her sentence, the image faded away before another formed, taking its place.

An unfamiliar girl stared back at them through picture. Loose auburn curls surrounded extremely pale skin. Somewhat thick eyelashes cast shadows onto piercing golden eyes. One of her eyebrows was raised and her mouth formed a smirk. However, this one wasn't playful like the one Jack constantly wore, it had another meaning behind it. It seemed dark, haunting, mean. It wasn't long before Tooth spoke, although it was a voice void of all previous joy and jitter she carried with her usually.
