Skylar watched from above as the sleigh started to plummet, hurtling rapidly towards the ground. In the panic derived from the storm, the reindeer which pulled the sleigh had somehow managed to snap the wooden beam between the two rows of animals in half and tear a few of the ropes.  The sleigh now dangled below the reindeer and was pulling the animals down with it as it fell from the sky.

Without fully considering the consequences of her actions, Skylar jumped off of the dark cloud she had been hiding on top of, landing on a lightning bolt which flashed below her.

She jumped from lightning bolt to lightning bolt, searching for Lilly. As soon as her gaze locked on her destination she zipped, arriving behind Lilly on the lightning spirit's personal storm cloud. She went unnoticed among the chaotic storm, Lilly continuing to look over the edge, assumably at the plummeting guardians.

Skylar jumped to tackle the crouched figure but her attempt was evaded as Lilly turned around, caught on to her action, and moved to the side to avoid her grasp. The purple eyed girl simply zipped back up to the platform, onto her feet, when she fell off, standing to face Lilly.

Lilly chuckled under her breath when she saw Skylar stood in-front of her once more. The sound wasn't as deep and menacing as you would think, more akin to a high school student playing the main antagonist in a play. She stood up slowly, looking the storm spirit up and down in the way a predator does to asses it's prey.

"I was wondering when you'd show up" Lilly went to strike Skylars chest but was quickly parried away; The storm spirits endless hours of training had honed her reflexes to a T. The girls were pushed away from each other by the exchange, nothing but empty space and rage filling the gap between them.

Skylar dug in to her belt, quickly pulling out one of the daggers she kept in there before throwing the knife at Lilly's thigh. The blade spun through the air, lined up for the perfect shot but was dodged by the lightning Spirit, who jumped to the side to avoid getting hit. As Skylar noticed a lightning bolt forming in the cloud above her, she quickly zipped above, barely missing it as it struck directly where she was standing moments before. She zipped back down, elbowing Lilly off the cloud a split second after landing.

Skylar didn't pay any attention to Lilly's form as she fell off the cloud, instead she swiftly made her way to the opposite side and leaned over the vapor platform. Her eyes scoured for the gaurdians she arrived with, quickly finding The Sand Man's bright figure sat on an ice slab.

The makeshift platform was rocking aggressively as the sea, from which it had been created, waged war. Sandy was pulling Bunny in with a life preserver made of radiant golden sand as Tooth helped a shivering Saint Nick onto the platform. Jack was attempting to arm the raft against the salt waters relentless attacks, building up a more secure boat like shape to keep the guardians that were incapable of flight safe.

Skylars legs were swept out from under her, leaving her tumbling through the sky. Instincts came to her as a savior once again as she reflexively shot out a lightning bolt towards the cloud, zipping herself along the spark and onto the gas platform at the speed of light, leaving her with just enough time to duck a punch thrown by the auburn haired girl. Skylar had only a split second to regain her composure before another jab came again.

The two spirits traded blows, each one seeming to be mere flashes of light as they fought. Lilly was the only one throwing punches and attempting to strike while Skylar used all of her energy to continuously weave out of the way just before the strike would land. Each time Skylar finished one evasive movement Lilly struck again, giving her little time, if any, to go on any type of offensive.

Throughout the fight, the lightning spirit was able to land many bruising blows on Skylars appendages, however, they did no real damage to the brunette other than than tiring her out and giving her pain to look forward too on the following day. It was only when Skylar stumbled slightly, exhaustion confusing her movements, that Lilly was able to land a firm kick to her chest, which knocked Skylar over and forced the wind out from her chest.
