"I promise, Oli. I'll always be here with you, I love you"Rowan starts flashing, he's here, he's not, he's here again, and then he's gone.
he reappears, this time, he looks possessed.
"Why did you stop looking for me? I loved you"
his voice starts to echo, his distorted voice is bouncing inside my head, I fall to the white floor, I clutch my legs, hoping to sooth myself, then, I begin to choke out sobs.
his voice is loud, so loud,
then, I wake up, it was just a nightmare. I'm panting and sweating heavily. It's been months since I've last dreamt about him.
I turn to my left, and there she is, sweet little Rose, deep asleep. I stroke her hair, and then, I feel the tears form in the brim of my eyes, why does she have to grow up without a father?
I don't like to cry, I brush it off, as quickly as I can. My alarm starts to beep loudly, and Rose groans, she looks distressed, I turn off the alarm and peacefully shake her awake.
"come on, Rosie, get up" I say, her beautiful eyelids open slowly, and then, I get a glimpse of her gorgeous light blue eyes, just like the oceans in Ibiza. I get a glimpse of Rowan and I, and our ever-lasting love.
I brush off the forming tears quickly, I don't want Rose to see me like this.
"your uniform is in your room baby, did you have a nightmare?" it wasn't usual for Rose to come into my room at night.
"I had a dream about daddy, what you tell me about him. And... and I dreamt that you were gone, too" her bottom lip starts to quiver. god, how I hate to see her sad.
"I'm right here baby" I placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, then we stared at each other comfortingly. Rowan was probably dead, and we're all we've got now, it's been this way for the past four years. I doubt that it'll change anytime soon.

I made my daughter her typical breakfast, a toast and chocolate milk. She walked into the kitchen groggily, she sat on her stool and as soon as she started eating I went to look for hair ties and a hair brush. When I came back Rose was mid-way through her breakfast.
I then started braiding two regular braids on my daughter's hair, just because that is her favorite hair style. When she wore those two braids, she reminded me of Wednesday Adams, just with blonde, smooth and silky hair instead of black like Rowan's, she took that after me.
"done" I said as I finished braiding her hair, she had just finished her food. Rose took the last gulp of her chocolate milk and jumped off the stool
"let's go baby" I said, then I stretched out my hand for her to grab it, she did so.
I grabbed my keys, opened the door and left. I closed the door behind me and locked it. When we got to the car, I secured Rose in the back and then got into the driver's seat. After that, we took off.
When we arrived to Rosie's school, I parked and opened the door for her, I helped her get off of the car, I heard something about a new teacher, I just didn't expect that he would walk all of the students into the class.
"good morning, you're Miss. Luxor Rossi, right?" he says, I lower my sunglasses to get a clear shot of him, then I put them back in place.
"hi. Yes, yes I am, may I help you?" at the time, I didn't know that he would be my daughter's teacher. "Actually, I'm here to help you. I'm Rose's teacher, I just thought that I would get all the kids on the first day and just walk them all in, but if you do not agree with that, then it's totally fine" he said, he had a fierce look on his eyes, almost as if he was flirting with me.
