"What do you mean 'no'?" he pouted like a little baby, I laughed. "I mean no. You don't work there anymore, Anderson. Today is a big day and I have a bunch of meetings" I finished curling my hair into beach waves while Anderson observed me through my mirror.
"But-" he started, I shushed him. "Rosie will wake up in five minutes, you have to go now"
he groaned, I chuckled and walked past him. "Don't you have a bar to own? Go there" I shrugged while I picked up my phone. "They don't really need me there" he shrugged, I rolled my eyes. "Go to the secret beach, I don't know. I'm not your mom" I groaned in annoyance and walked out of the room.
"Mommy?" my daughter called out. "Shit. Leave, Anderson" I pushed my boyfriend to the main door and opened it, he looked at me with puppy eyes. "You're not a baby. You're a grown ass, twenty-nine year old man. Go make your own choices" He huffed and placed himself on the ground, I rolled my eyes again.
"I'll go if you give me a kiss" he teased, I huffed and pecked his lips. The kiss wasn't even a kiss, but it was magical. He left with a satisfied look on his face, I closed the door and smiled to myself.
"Mommy?" Rosie called out louder, "Shit" I muttered and ran over to her room. She was dressed in her uniform and looking for her shoes. "Your shoes are next to the door, honey" I informed her. "Okay" she smiled brightly and walked past me into the kitchen. I chuckled while shaking my head and followed after her. Rosie jumped up on a stool and I handed her her breakfast.
I started doing her hair, yesterday she asked for two pigtails, so that was what I was doing. I wanted to wait a bit before telling her about Anderson and me, this would cause a huge change to her and I wanted it to be real before officially making him a part of our lives. It has always been me and her against the world, it would be just weird for it to be me, her, Eve and Anderson.
"You finish eating, I'll get you your sweater." I admired my work and started heading off, "mommy but I opened the window and it was fine" she groaned, "Rosie, it's fall now. Listen to mommy for this, will you?" I picked up her sweater which I'd placed on the couch beforehand.
"Fine" she rolled her eyes. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it? I chuckled at the thought.
"Let's get going, honey" I pecked the top of her head and she jumped off the stool. I grabbed her backpack and handed her her sweater, she reluctantly put it on as well as her shoes. We headed out, the car ride was like always, Rosie put her music on and sang it to the top of her lungs, I just smiled in adoration to myself for the whole ride.
After I dropped her off I headed to my office.

It was an intense day at work, the fall show was coming up and I had to make sure that things were coming along with. I met the last few models and talked to them about what the show would be about. They were all ecstatic and over the moon. Rose had ballet so I had to pick her up later than usual.
Anderson was waiting for me outside the building, I parked my car and went out to ask him what he was doing.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, demanding an answer. He looked smug. I saw his car parked a block away, he was waiting for me. "Rose has her ballet class with Eve, yes?" he got off the wall, I nodded confused.
"I have a surprise for you. Do you trust me?"
"Yes?" I answered hesitantly, he held his hand out for me and I took it. I followed him to his car and he opened my door. I buckled in and after he did too, I spoke up. "What is this all about?" I chuckled.
