Jannah straightened her spine. "Welcome to our humble home. I'm Firdausi Jannah Yahya, Dracs's wife."

Of course they all had different ways of expressing their shock but Bakri took it to another level, she is starting to not like the guy. Why else would he guffaw so hard and fell off the couch? That's so disrespecting even if that's how he naturally is. You are not supposed to laugh like that after your boss's wife introduced herself.

What does that mean then? That she is not good enough for the man or he is just too shocked that Adnan really have a wife? Laughing like that just didn't sit well with her, she badly wanted to leave the room with Aisha who's sneaked out after serving them refreshments. And it's not like she is expecting Adnan to stand up for her. She is all alone.

Jawad on the other hand continued to stare at her with furrowed brows then his eyes settled on Adnan who's still reading from the tablet Alim gave him. Jannah is not so bad, she looks too innocent though. How is she managing Adnan with that foul ruthless attitude of his? He is going to taint her pretty soon, she also looks young and fresh out from secondary school.

He forced his eyes to stay focused on her face only, not wanting to drag it down another man's wife. But he couldn't help it because the color suited her skin a lot. Kinda purple, mauve of course. It's a color meant for dark skinned women, they rock it like no other. She's got a nice shape too, a body to die for.

Just that he is not into svelte women, he likes them chubby and maybe a little plump. That's his choice.

Alim, the personal assistant looks really comical on the other hand. His eyes are so wide along with his mouth that's mopping the floor. He's scrunched up his nose lowering his brows down to his eyelids, really farcical. It earned a chuckle from Jannah behind her palms, she couldn't help it. At least this one is not laughing like the other mannerless man. He is still chortling.

When her eyes fell on Ammar's, he gave her a small smile which she returned. It's written all over his expression that he is also galvanized at the way she's changed from the last time he's seen her. Of course, she is not supposed to be the way she is if she wants to attract her husbands attention to his family. That Jannah has to die for that to happen hence, she's resting in peace-

Adnan's voice cut through the air, his nonchalance irking her. "Mr. Alim, I asked for the topographical blueprints and not their yearly revenue and benefit. Where are the blueprints?"

Alim cleared his throat taking his eyes off of her, they still bounce back while he explained where Adnan should check for the topographical stuff. She rounded the sofa Adnan is sitting on and sat down beside him, she is not going to be ignored. If he won't talk to her, he should feel her beside him. He shouldn't act as though they didn't share that kiss earlier.

That is two days straight. It means something right? Most definitely. They've made out twice in less than twenty four hours.

Jannah moved closer to him when he ignored her the first three minutes. "I'm working."

"I can see that, I have eyes. I just want to see what you are working on." She poked her head to see what he was reading from the tablet only to move back. It's so weird, how do they read that kind of stuff?

"Don't get in the way then." He murmured sharply, tracing the edge of a pen around the tablet to keep track.

Alim stared with wide eyes still, his boss has never used a pen or anything to trace a blueprint. What is going on and who is this woman for real? He is left in dark and it's not like he's got any right to question his boss. Maybe he should ask his younger brother? He should know about this woman if she is his wife or just a mistress trying to claim a place for herself.
