Ammar frowned at the older woman in front of him not really understanding what she is talking about. From what she's said about Aisha miscarrying a baby and now talking about rape, it doesn't make sense at all. Why is she mumbling out stupid things as a doctor? She is supposed to be extremely smart and not this way, she is complicating things.

"Doctor, how about you explain this to me some more. How could she be raped without her knowledge? It is painful so she must know when something is amiss. Enlighten me, I'm not following well." He crossed his arms over his chest, his expression serene but his mind was in chaos.

"There are many drugs now used to rape a woman and she won't ever find out about it if she was never a virgin. And a virgin will find out when she sleeps with a man for the first time, the pain won't be much and blood won't be present though that is really not the case all the time." Dr. Shafa'atu explained, waving a hand at a fellow female doctor from across the corridor.

"I am still not following you. How is that related to Aisha's case now?" He sternly brought her attention back to him, she is losing track when this is a serious situation.

The doctor sighed, she's been going on for the case the whole day and now they are denying her truth? How complicated do they want to make something as simple as this? She is trying to help them find a solution which is totally not her field but they aren't listening. They are hellbent on wanting to make her say 'Oh, just early April fool there is nothing to worry about' which isn't the truth. Her patient really had a miscarriage.

To abandon the thought that she went for surrogacy, she is not a maiden anymore. She's checked everything again when Jannah refused to believe that he friend was pregnant. They've all seen the sign, especially Jannah because she's believed her albeit reluctantly. The women in the room too are slowly following her, that's the truth of their situation whether they want to accept it or not.

"Mr...?" She trailed off in that cliche way they do when they want to find out somebody's name.

"Ammar." He supplied, tucking his hands deep into the pockets of his jeans for the seriousness in her expression and tone means business.

She smiled, a tiny one, her voice matter-of-fact as she said her next sentence. "Mr. Ammar, I said the only way she could be pregnant without her knowledge is through rape."

"Rape?" Ammar literally felt his heart dropping to his feet in fear and dread.

Aisha was raped by some bastard and she doesn't even know? Who would dare to go to such extent and when did that happen? But can you really be raped and you won't know? People talk about the pain virgins go through after the first time so she must've really felt something right? Something is missing here, a large piece of information only Aisha could supply at the moment. But was she really raped?

"That is what I've been trying to say. Because nowadays there are drugs used to rape women, illegal ones that we are still yet to find out where they get them from. If given to you, you won't be able to feel the pain or remember anything that's happened for the past several hours. You might not even remember waking up and doing any other thing, the memory will be dulled so would the pain. If that happens, then she won't know where she got it from like her case right now..." she trailed off when Ammar held his head between his two hands.

"How's that possible?" He muttered through gritted teeth, anger, dread and worry coursing through his veins.

"I swear when I trace down the bastard that did this to her, I'm going to break every single bone from his body and that too with a smile. Men rape in this century?" Ammar murmured loud enough for the doctor to hear.
