Genny's hair tickles the back of her neck as she holds a knife ready for walkers around the perimeter. A whistle sounds and she looks at Lori before nodding.

She walks in as Daryl sits down plugging an owl. She sits down next him and he eyes her before continuing. She looks at him until Rick throws a can across the room.

Not long after T alarms the group and they run again. Genny jumps on the bike behind Daryl who rides in front of the others. They stop a few miles away and she sits in a car tired.

Daryl gives her a quick kiss before walking away. Genny looks at him as he disappears into the woods and she closes her eyes.

An hour later she climbs through the fence of a prison. Daryl hands her back her backpack which she easily throws on her back.

They stop by a gate and Rick decides to go into the courtyard. Genny and Daryl stand on the tower shooting walkers in his path. "Maybe we could go on a date," Daryl chuckles.

Genny scoffs before looking at him. "Hell no, I hate dates," she smiles shooting a walker that sneaks up on Rick.

"You don't seem the type anyways," he says looking at Rick who runs to the gate.

Genny almost shoots Rick's foot. He stops and looks at her as she smiles innocently. "Sorry," she says.

He keeps running until he closes the gate and gets in the tower. "He's in," Genny smiles at him.

"Light it up!" Daryl yells at the group.

That night Genny sits on a sleeping bag between Glenn and Carl. "I'm gonna give Daryl some food," Carol says getting up.

"I'll bring him some," Genny says jumping up and ripping the bowl out of her hand.

Daryl helps her on top of the van. "Dinner, or else you won't eat," she smiles giving him the food.

He scoffs taking it. "You okay?" He asks as she moves her shoulders around.

"Yeah, my arms, shoulders and neck hurt from the rifle," she sighs.

She flinches slightly as she feels his hands on her shoulders. He immediately takes them off, "sorry, forgot to ask. May I?" He asks motioning for her shoulders.

She nods turning around so he can massage her painful muscles. They sit down and she leans into his chest while listening to Beth and Maggie's singing.

She joins in the last few sentences. "I didn't know you could sing," Daryl smiles as she closes her eyes.

"I can't," she chuckles playing with his hand.

The next day she watches the group go into the prison. A while later she walks into a cell block after Daryl. "I ain't sleepin in no cage, I'll take the perch," Daryl says putting his stuff there.

Genny bites her bottom lip as she doubts if she wants to sleep next him or on her own. "You gonna sleep with him?" Glenn asks walking up to her.

She sighs shrugging, "I don't know yet." She says before walking up the stairs to a cell close to Daryl's sleeping place.

She throws her stuff on the top bunk and drops down on the bottom bed. She groans putting her hands over her face before looking at Daryl who lays with his arms under his head.

She sighs getting up and walking over to him. She throws the mattress next his before laying on it in silence.

Daryl looks at Genny who has her eyes closed while her face is turned to him. He smiles softly, her laying next him is the farthest she has gone. During the winter, instead of looking for heat by him she would go to Glenn or Carl.

She still flinches if he touches her suddenly or if he stands to close to her. A small kiss on the top of the head or one on the lips can be done sometimes but not always.

The next day she watches him leave as he gives her a small nod. She takes care of the small group left behind while her, Beth, carol and carl also clean up the cells.
