5.11 the distance

Genny sits in the rv next Daryl as he works a little on her brace. "Good enough?" He asks as she puts her hand on her leg.

"Yeah, let me walk around a little," she says getting up.

Suddenly the rv hits the breaks making Genny fall forward. Daryl catches her and holds her up. "You okay?" He asks worried.

"Yes, I'm fine," she says holding onto him.

He puts her on the couch and walks over to Abraham. They start arguing until a flare is shot in air. "Guys!" Genny yells at them.

They all turn to her, "what?" They yell in unison.

She points at the flare and Abraham starts the rv again. They go to the flare where the group kills a dozen walkers until they free a guy who's ankle is broken.

The group goes into a store until Daryl alerts them to the others returning. Genny runs out and into Glenn's arms crying softly. He hugs her back and kisses her cheek.

She pulls back to hit his chest. "That was the last time you make me think you're dead!" She yells at him.

"I know, I'm sorry," he says pulling her back into a hug.

They go inside and spend the night there. The next day they continue their journey to the community until the rv breaks down.

"Just like Dale's," she sighs opening the hood.

She watches as Glenn teaches Abraham what Dale taught him. They then continue their journey until Genny falls asleep.

"You're married, right?" Aaron asks Daryl who nods.

"How long?" He asks.

Daryl looks down to Genny and shrugs. "Few months, I think. But we have been together for about a year or so," he smiles moving his hand through her curls.

Aaron looks at her and smiles, "she'd be a good mother. Maybe you could start a family." He says looking at Daryl.

Daryl shakes his head. "Bringing a kid in this world...that's not smart, everybody dies, or gets hurt," he says making Aaron nod.

They arrive to the community where Daryl helps Genny out of the rv. They look at the gate and she smiles grabbing his hand and giving it a squeeze.
