(Y/N)'s POV
The door flies open as I come in with an armful of groceries, "I'm home!"

"Well, well, well," a deep voice I'm greeted with and one that I'm much familiar with. Griffin!

"Griff, I didn't know you'd be here today."

"Decided to drop by and say hi."

"I'm glad. Sorry, but would you mind giving me a hand?" Griffin notices me struggling with the groceries, rushing over to take a paper bag away from me.

"There we go!"

"You're a lifesaver." I breathe as I put all groceries down on the kitchen counter. I'd really want to collapse on the couch after doing this, but I know it's going to eat me alive later. I'll just keep thinking of the groceries on the counter still needing to be placed where they're supposed to be.

"How was work?"

"Tiring. Interview after interview and people giving me sorry looks for no reason."

"Sorry looks?"

"Yeah, like pitiful. I don't know."

Griffin hums in confusion, but shrugging it off. People are weird these days.

I start placing all the stuff in their designated spots when my phone starts to ring. "Griffin, would you check who's calling?"

"Yeah, sure." Griffin picks my phone up in his hands and sees the caller ID. "It's Hailee."

"Oh, pick it up. Tell her I'm a bit busy at the moment." Griffin nods and answers the phone as I'd asked.

"What's up, Hails?" Griffin says, waiting for a response from the other end. I keep my eyes on him as I'm somewhat invested. She is my girlfriend after all.

Suddenly, Griffin's face changes from jolly to worried. "One sec," he whispers to me, holding up his pointer and walking over to the corridor. I nod and finish putting the things I'd brought into the fridge, pantry and others.

After I finish up, I go over to the corridor to find Griffin still on the phone with Hailee. His face is a bit better than before, but I'm still worried nonetheless.

I try getting his attention by waving my arms around and mouthing the words, "Is she okay?"

"Shhh!" He says, waving me off. Taking the slightest bit of offense, I start to annoy him a bit more. I then start to climb on top of him to hear Hailee on the other end.

He bends over in a way I'm in a position in which I could fall face first. I flip myself off of Griffin and back onto my feet. I slug his arm and he gives me a slight shove and walks farther away.

"Okay, Hails. Calm down. Just be honest." As soon as those words came out of Griffin's mouth, I knew something was wrong.

"She was busy, that's why I answered. Look, just take it easy, okay? Y'know TMZ, always catching something that isn't something. Just be honest and you'll be okay. Now just get home." Griffin says. They come to some sort of understanding and he's in the clear to hang up.

"What the heck was that?"

"What was what?"

"That? What's wrong? Is Hailee okay?" Griffin sighs and nods his head. "Yeah, it's just something came up and she was really freaking out. She's on her way though. You'll talk to her then."

"Is there something I need to be talking to her about?"

"It depends. How're you and confrontations?"

"Not a fan."
