(Y/N)'s POV
"I think this would really —"

All of a sudden, my phone starts to ring in the middle of my conversation with my agent, Toby. We'd just wrapped up an endorsement deal and we're out to lunch.

"It's Hailee."

"Well, pick it up, Romeo!" I laugh at Toby, whose sense of humor I find refreshing. I slide the phone to the accept call button and put my phone to my ear.

"Hey, you." I greet Hailee, only to be greeted with a groggy tone.

"Hi, (Y/N/N). Where are you?"

"I'm at Taco Bell with Toby. I'm having lunch, are you okay?"

"Do you think you'll be out for long?"

"I'm not exactly sure, love. I might be out until about maybe five. Are you okay?" Hailee doesn't even respond to my question as she grunts in pain. This worries me.

"Are you okay? What's up?"

"I'm on my period."

"Oh, no. I'm sorry, my love. Anything I can get you?"

"Nothing, actually. Don't wanna trouble you. I just wanted to know when you'd be home. I miss you." I give a sad smile even though I know she can't see me at the moment.

"Aww, I miss you more. I'll be home as soon as I can." I tell her. By as soon as I can, I mean as soon as I'm done with this call.

"Okay, see you then. I love you."

"I love you too." I hang up the phone and finish the rest of my food.

"Woah, woah, woah. What's got you in a hurry?"

"Sorry... do we have anything on for the rest of the day?"

"Just a quick stop by Simon & Schuster and we're good to go."

"Would you mind if we postponed it?"

"Postpone it? Why?"

"I just have more important matters to attend to."

"More important than this?"

"Anything that concerns the love of my life is automatically more important, Toby." Toby doesn't respond to me, nodding his head.

"Okay, then." Toby gives in, knowing it'll make things worse if he tries to change my mind. "I'll see what I can do about this, but just get to her for now."

"You're the best!" I say, taking out my wallet and placing two hundred dollar bills and standing up. Toby nods, going on to take a sip of his coffee. I leave him and enter my car.

A few minutes roll by, with little to no traffic. Who knew this was a time everyone would be too busy to actually drive. Is that what actually happens... not the point.

I drive over to Walmart and grab a few pads in case Hailee's out. I also decide to grab some chocolates and some brownies since I know she'll be craving them soon.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~time skip~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I use the spare keys Hailee gave me to her house, opening the door. Martini and Brando were out with Griffin today, so no pups sadly.
I walk up the stairs, finding myself in front of Hailee's room. I gently knock, making my presence known and enter the room.
There Hailee was, sprawled all over the bed with half her body almost out of the mattress's hold. I pout, "Aww, baby."
I walk over to where Hailee'd been hanging and gently move her so her whole body is rested on the bed.
"You came," she groaned as she held her abdomen.
"Of course, my love. I came here as fast as I could." I massage her scalp as I look at her. She closes her eyes as she eases into my touch.
I stand up to get her the stuff I'd brought her earlier, but I'm held back, "Where are you going?"
"Oh, I'm not going anywhere. I'm just getting you some stuff from downstairs that I —"
"Don't..."
"I'm still here, Haiz. I won't leave. Let me just get you some things to help you feel better."
"Those can wait, you're enough to make my whole day." I smile at her words and don't hesitate to crawl into bed with her. She scoots over to my side in order for me to hold her.
I wrap my arms around her and feel her start to drift off to sleep, "I love you, (Y/N/N)." I smile at her words again and kiss her head.
"I love you more. Sweet dreams, love." I say as she hums and drifts off to sleep.
