(Y/N)'s POV
"I'm home, Haiz!"I run into the house to find it empty. But that's okay. Judging by how empty the house is and music blasting through the place, I knew where Hailee was — in her music room. She's got the habit of copping herself up in there. Which means she's got a new idea for a song!
Now I'd have normally knocked, but Hailee told me that I can come in at anytime without knocking. So that's exactly what I did — entered the room without knocking.
"Hey there, my love—"
"(Y/N), OUT!" I hear Hailee stand up from where she was seated, come over and lightly shove me from the door and shuts it in my face. What the heck?
"You okay?"
"All good, now don't come in here!"
Okay — that was weird.
Hailee's POV
I'm seated in my music room writing my new song. The melody was something that's been playing in my head for about a week now. At first, I thought it was something I must've heard.I tried humming the melody on google to see if it's something I knew — but it wasn't. It took me a while to realize that it's gonna be a new melody for my own song.
I didn't waste a single minute upon the epiphany. I ran straight into my music room and started working on the song. It was going well, since the song had been in my head for so long. So it wasn't that hard to piece the wanted things together.
Okay, now for some final editing! I start fiddling with the controls to edit the sound, trying to get it to sound Pitch Perfect — pun intended.
Since nobody was home, I thought it'd be best to blast the song's melody throughout the room and consequently throughout the whole house. And because the volume was at an absolute high, I hadn't heard (Y/N)'s car park in the driveway.
I even kicked Martini and Brando out of the room so neither of them could warn me. This was a toughie.
"Hey there, my love—" I look up from my seat, abruptly pausing the whole song. I stand up from my seat and panic.
"(Y/N), OUT!" I yell, standing up from my seat and shoving (Y/N) out of the room. I know I told her she could come in without nothing, but this was a different set of circumstance. She can't come in.
I shut the door in her face, going back to my seat and breathing out. "You okay?"
"All good, now don't come in here!" I warn as I continue to edit the song. With headphones on this time.

Hailee's POV
"Great night for the beach!"I say nothing as I get out of the car and let the moon brush against my skin. (Y/N) makes quick work of getting Brando out of the car from one side while I take Martini out from the other.
We'd decided to go to the beach since it was relatively empty and perfect. Okay — entirely empty and perfect. Who knew LA could provide an empty beach?
"You okay, Haiz?"
"I'm good, why?" I come off a bit more aggressive, which is so not me. But there's nothing much I can do about it, I'm afraid. I'm way behind schedule on the song I've been working on. With the perfect melody complete, I needed to piece the perfect lyrics to fit it.
I've asked none other than Anderson .Paak to feature in the song, so that's a bit of comfort. He's been working on one half of the lyric — for his part. But the problem was on my part. Ideas, according to him, we're springing back and forth and up and down in his head. Whereas I — have absolutely nothing.
