(Y/N)'s POV
"Oh, shit!"

"What's going on?" Florence asks as she hears me curse under my breath. I look back to her, quickly turning back to pull the curtains so she could see what I'd been seeing.

"What the hell?"

"I know. It's Niall." I say pushing the curtains back so he doesn't see us. "What the frickadell is he doing here?" Griffin asks as he joins in on the conversation.

"Beats me." Florence says.

"Why do I feel like I don't like it?" I ask, my breath slowly picking up the pace. Florence places a hand on my shoulder and Griffin does his best to make sure nobody's around — including Hailee.

It's really hard to see Hailee at this point for a number of reasons. Number one — we broke up. Number two — it's totally awkward. Three — we always have a few "moments".

It's been about six months since we'd broken up, but we still meet up for press conferences. One of the things about the show that make it awkward is the fact that Hailee and I play love interests. So it's really hard to move on when you've gotta make out with your ex for a whole season.

Not to mention that it was a really painful breakup. And it was over Niall, so go figure.

"Alright, maybe he's just here because he's a fan of the show." Florence says, trying to get me to look at a silver lining. She's like that on the show and off-screen — she truly fits her role.

"Yeah... maybe."

"Wait. You don't think she's actually into him, do you?" Griffin asks me, with eyes full of apprehensiveness.

I shrug my shoulders, "I wouldn't put it past her. It kills me to say."

"She doesn't give a shit about him."

"How do you know that?"

"Because she's my sister. I can read her like a book."

"Oh, really? Need I remind you how she came out to you?" I ask him. The way he found out happened to be when he found Hailee and I in her bed. He said and I quote, "Well, that was unexpected."

"Okay, maybe I'm not the brightest bulb out there." Griffin admits. "However, I know Hailee well enough to know that she's not planning on getting with him."

"Oh, I totally believe that." I cross my arms. Griffin nods. "He's trying to get with her." I blurt out.

"Okay, look. I feel like we're overthinking this a little too much, darling." Florence says, pulling me in for a hug. "I've got an idea. Let's wrap this baby up. Then head to my place for some food and movies." I think it over. Not a bad idea.

"Sure." Florence smiles at my acceptance.

"Alright, it's time. Wish us luck, Griff. Not that we need it." Florence says on her metaphorical throne.

                             >>>time skip<<<

We leave Griffin backstage and take our seats. I take my seat next to Florence and a moment later, Hailee emerges from the curtains and takes her seat next to me. Great. More tension.

"What the f—?" Hailee curses under her breath at the sight of the audience.

"You okay, dearie?" Florence asks. Guess she's also heard her. Hailee turns to her, "Umm... yeah. It's just... nothing. Forget it."
