Here Comes The Gang War

"You doing alright?" asked Jet. I had woken up before the sun rose and wanted to take a walk, but Jet must have been on watch and saw me. "Yeah, just a rough couple of days," Jet padded the spot next to him and I sat down with him. "I heard about the guys," He said after we sat there looking at the early morning sky. "Oh," I looked up at him "You're not going to kiss me too, are you?" Jet laughed at me and smiled. "No, I have a girlfriend," I sighed, "Thank goodness," He laughed and patted my back. "So, what's going to happen? Are you going to pick one?" "I honestly don't know, I wasn't really expecting to even become apart of a group, especially have three guys kiss me," Jet smirked. "Well, they are all great guys, and they all know what each other did, that's why they are trying so hard," I sighed and stood up. "I'm going to walk until sunrise, do you mind?" Jet shook his head and I left him alone. I wandered around the diner and would walk far away from it, then back. I wouldn't leave it out of my sight, however.

The sun began to rise so I jogged back to the diner, I was a littler further out than I should have gone, so by the time I got back my side was hurting. As soon as I was a few yards away I felt very light headed and slowed down. I made it back into the diner and no one was out yet. I found my way to the first booth and collapsed into it. My head killed me and I felt the world spinning. "Atom?" I heard Kobra call out. I heard him walk over and he must have seen something bad, because he took in a breath sharply. "Fuck, Atom, can you stand?" His voice was closer to me, I shook my head and I felt his arms slide under my knees and around my waist. "What's wrong?" I heard Party ask. "Move," was all Kobra said. I was laid down on the bed and turned on my side so Kobra could work on my side. He ripped the gauze off of my side quickly, causing a sharp pain to shoot through my body. "Kobra!!" I cried out. "You're side was bleeding a lot, and I think it's getting infected," I felt strong arms holding me still while Kobra worked. "Party, make sure she doesn't move. Ghoul, can you help me with this?" All three of the killjoys who had kissed me where working together to save me. "Kobra, she's getting cold, can you hurry up?" Party was holding tighter, I could feel his body present behind me. "I'm trying, I've never given stitches before!" Kobra's hands were shaking, I felt the needle going in about out on my side. I wanted to scream, but Party held me tight. I felt Ghoul take my hand and I squeezed it tight. I let out a quiet scream and both Party any Ghoul held on tighter. I felt Kobra pull at my side and then I heard him. "I'm done, give me the anti-bacterial spray! I need to make sure she won't get an infection again," I felt Party let go and then I felt the burning sensation of the spray.

I felt very stiff and scared to open my eyes. I had them closed the entire time so I wouldn't cry. I refused to let the Four see me weak. They had already saved me, now twice, and had seen me incapable of moving. I'd rather not have them see me incapable of doing anything because I was breaking down. I heard Kobra sigh loudly and felt the others relax. "Atom? Please open your eyes so we can tell that you're okay?" I didn't think I could, I felt the burning sensation from behind my eyes and knew that once the air hit them I'd be shedding tears. "Please, Atom," I heard Kobra whisper into my ears. This was hurting him as much as it was hurting me, it was technically his fault it got infected. I couldn't make him suffer any longer. I blinked my eyes open and immediately caught Kobra's gaze. He smiled wider than I've ever seen him smiled before. He laughed and hugged me tightly. "Don't ever do that to us, Atom," He whispered into my ear. I felt so weak and I could barely move but all I wanted was to hug him, but he pulled away. I felt the first few tears roll down my face, I hadn't cried in years. Ghoul sat up, whipped the tears away and hugged me as well. "Atom, God dammit, it's too early for this," Party said while hugging me tightly. I smiled lightly and felt many more tears fall from my eye. "Is she alright?" I heard Jet ask from behind me. I saw Kobra nod his head and smile. "Thank God," I heard Jet sigh in relief. "I'm planning on going to the bar tonight, with Bomber. Want to come?" Both Party and Ghoul nodded then looked at me and their faces changed. "I'll stay with Atom," Kobra said, "I have to make sure it doesn't happen again. Is that okay?" He mainly asked the two of them and they warily nodded.

That evening I stayed in Kobra's room on his bed. He would walk in and check on me. The most recent time, he asked if I was hungry, I told him no, but he later returned with a can for me. He helped me sit up and he sat next me. He handed me the can and ate his. I only poked around mine and then gave it to him when he finished his. "Feeling any better?" Kobra finally spoke, we had sat there in silence for awhile now. "MmHmm," I tried to ignore the feeling I had in my stomach when he looked at me. "Atom, I-I've been thinking about what I did the other day, and it was completely out of the ordinary for me. But I heard about the other guys and I was wondering. Do-do you even want a relationship at this point?" "Thanks for actually caring about what I think. And maybe, I just haven't been in one before and-and I'm young still, I just met you all, and even though you all are great, I just don't know what-what to do," Kobra hugged me tight when I finished. He stroked my hair lightly and nuzzled his face into my neck. His smell comforted me, I hadn't felt this way about anyone, let alone three people. I stayed curled up in Kobra's arms that evening until I fell asleep. His strong arms seemed to make me feel safe, after the awful day I had gone through today. I knew Kobra felt awful for putting me through this and wanted to be very good to me from now on.

Maybe Kobra was the one for me?
