Epilogue

-Kobra Kid's POV-

"Hey Kobes," Party said sitting next to me, "She'll wake up, don't worry," I was sitting outside of Atom's door, she had been asleep for a few days straight. Well, she hasn't been outside of her room for those days, and when I go in to check her wounds, she is always asleep. "I know, I just feel so-so guilty," Party stood up and pulled me up with him. He brought me into the main part of the diner, with the others and we sat around a booth. Ghoul had heated up a few cans of Power-Pup for us, and had turned on the radio, expecting an announcement from Dr. D. We had visited him and debriefed. He was shocked and almost scared when we told him about Korse's death, he acted like there was a larger problem, but what was bigger than Korse himself? The radio roared to life, and we were treated with Dr. D's voice. "Killjoys! We have a serious problem at hand, we need every single killjoy to go to sector six and head north. We're storming sector seven," his voice cut out and static returned. "S-sector seven?" I heard a light voice from behind me whisper.

Everyone's heads snapped to where the voice came from. Standing in the doorframe was the small, bruised and cut body of my beautiful Atom. I stood up and ran to her, sweeping her up and holding her tight. "Oh my God Atom, I love you so much," I said into her hair. She hugged me tightly back and responded, "I love you too Kobra," The others hugged her tightly and we filled her in on the recent events.

"So we have to go to seven?" Atom asked again. I nodded and we stood up together. "We need to go," We got to the car and drove quickly as far north we could go. We saw many other killjoy's behind us, we were leading the brigade.

The desert was beginning to change to grass and trees where becoming more common. "W-Where are we?" Atom asked. Everyone was just as confused. "I have no idea," Party responded. We kept going until we noticed there were no more cars behind us. Party slammed on the breaks and we all flew forward. "What's wrong?" Ghoul asked. "We're-We're here,"

We got out and were greeted by big brick walls, like the ones in Battery City. No one knew what to do, until Atom took a few steps back and examined the wall. She ran toward it and jumped and began to climb it. We followed her lead until we made it over. Behind the wall was a place we've never seen. There were computers, and hundreds of people running all over. Large buildings where towering over us. Lastly, there were people yelling to get us down.

"You can't be here," they said pulling Atom to one side and the four of us to the other. "Atom!" I screamed. "Kobra!" She broke away from their hands and got to me, planting a passionate kiss on my lips before we were dragged into separate places. "You are to never see that girl again. This is not what you think it is. We have some explaining to do," The man said to us and locked the door.
