-Atom Starr's POV-
My eye's fluttered open, I was shocked to see that I was still in a car. We were moving fast along the dirt. I kept as still as possible because my head was throbbing. I heard the distant mumble of people. I was in the back of a windowless van. It had no seats where I was, and it was dark. The only thing lighting up the back of the van, was a small window that lead to the driver's cabin. I crawled back to the doors, my head was rushing and I was breathing short shallow breaths. I got about halfway and I was held back from going any further. I swung myself around, expecting to see a drac holding me back, but I was greeted with a thick chain attached to the front wall of the van. I gave up, I couldn't do anything without the Four anymore. I laid back down and closed my eyes, hoping I'd die before I was tortured again.
"So, tell me why we are out in Sector Six, not in the city?" I heard a drac say. "I already told you," I heard the drac hiss in pain. "Because, we're going to torture her then show the Four and they'll be unable to do anything. I already killed the Bomber girl, which makes one of them already weak. Once she's gone, they'll not know what to do," I heard Korse laugh. I felt my body begin to shake nervously, I'm going to get the Four killed.
The doors opened quickly, flooding the back of the van with light. I squeezed my eyes shut to avoid the burning light. "cut her chain and carry her in, she probably can't move yet," I heard a drac say. I felt someone walk into the back with me, then I heard a loud noise and a snap. I still had the chain on my ankle, and that's where it'll probably stay. I was picked up and felt the stomach churning movement of walking. I felt absolutely helpless, all feeling in my body had gone away, what was wrong with me? "Lay her here, the drug should wear off soon, and we need her to be contained before she can fight. You have her gun, right?" I heard the drac carrying me grumble in agreement. I was dropped onto a cold table and I heard the door shut. Then, there was silence.
I jumped up off the table and looked around. I was panting heavily and I felt like I was shaking. I was extremely stiff and felt numb everywhere. I was in a small, grey, room with bright florescent lights above me. This was definitely not the large cells I was trapped in back in the city. "Good morning," I heard a loud raspy voice echo in my prison. I looked around the room and saw no one, his voice must be being projected in. "Go to the door, we need to have a ...discussion." I slowly walked to the door, I knew if I didn't comply I would be beat. I am going to be beat anyway. The door swung open and arms grabbed me roughly. I was thrown down to the floor in the hallway. "Up," said a brain numbed soldier. I scrambled up to my feet and he pushed me down the hall. We entered a room marked with a red door. In the room there was nothing but a chair and a few cabinets. "Sit," the man tied me up to the chair and left the room. I sat there for a few minutes, then I was greeted by none other than the man himself.
"Welcome back, Princess," he laughed. "Stop calling me that," I spat. He walked closer to me and pushed a piece of my red hair behind my ear. I rolled my eyes at him, his face curled into a frown and he smacked me across the face.
I felt the chair shift a little, and I looked back up at Korse. "Now, we're going to have some fun," Korse proceeded to beat me senseless for what felt like hours. Eventually, he hit me so hard the chair fell to the side and he kicked me while I was down. I felt blood dripping off of me and a constant pain in my ribs once he stopped kicking me. "What do we have here?" He said lifting up the side of my shirt, revealing the large scar. "Did you get a boo-boo? Here, let me fix that for you," Korse then drug his dirty fingernails into my side and re-opened my wound. I screamed out in pain and he laughed at me. He kicked me one last time before leaving the room. I laid on the ground, not being able to move because of the awful pain that was brought onto me. Eventually I was moved back to my small, grey, room, where I stayed without moving.
