-A few months before junior high-
Opening the door knob to my house, my friends and I rushed into my house while laughing. My mom came by as she was talking to someone on the phone. I ran fast around her, but she scoffed and shouted at me as I took my seat on the couch.
My friends sat down on either the floor or the chair in the living room. One of them sighed as they got comfortable in the chair, "Finally! School is out!"
"And we can kick back and relax!" My friend with black hair asked as he was looking at my video games.
"So, what should we do first?" I asked. Then I noticed my mom came into the room, still talking on the phone with someone.
"Really?" She said aloud while laying her eyes on me. Why is she giving me that look? "And what else do I need to know?" For a moment she stopped talking while keeping her eyes on me. "Uh-huh. Uh-huh." She bit the bottom of her lip, then she gritted her teeth, "Okay. I'll have a talk with him." Then she ended the phone call.
"What was that all about?"
"I'll talk to you later," her voice was louder than before. Her eyes landed on my friends, "I'm sorry, but you can't stay here for a sleepover. I'm calling your parents to come pick you up." She told them while dialing a number.
"Mom! What are you doing?!" I shouted at her.
"It's fine." One of my friends said, "We can just walk home. It's not that far."
"But—!"
Just as I was about to protest, my mom interrupted me, "Katsuki! Go to your room!" She turned to face me while the number was ringing, "When your dad gets home from work, we are going to have a talk."
What did I even do? I mean, what could she have possibly found out that—? Oh. I sighed disappointedly and went into my room. My friends went with my mom to wait outside for their ride. Even if they offered to walk themselves home, they had to wait for their parents to come by.
There could only be one explanation for why she was acting this way. She found out that I was bullying Deku with my friends. Why is it such a big deal? Everyone, besides his girlie friends, hates him. I was just doing what they were thinking. I don't see what the big deal is. I tried being friends with him, but he immediately ran away from me. Every time I came over, he would cover his ears, at that moment, I realized why no one likes him.
He was so mean to everyone. He didn't want to listen and the teachers let him get away with certain things like homework! He even has easier tests than any of us. I always thought his mother had connections with the school, but I never found out if it was true or not. That was the time when I had enough and started bullying him.
I can't believe he got my parents on his side! He must be having a laugh as this was all happening. Then, someone knocked on my door. It was dad as he revealed himself. Usually, he would look worried and frantic, but this time, it was a serious look. Like the one mom gave me.
"Your mother told me what happened." She told him? "She wants you downstairs now."
"Okay..." I answered as I left my room. Dad closed the door for me and I reached for his hand. He held back my hand as we walked down the hall to the stairs. As we made it to the final steps of the stairs, we went into the kitchen. Where I see mom sitting in a chair, with her elbows supporting her arms and hands intertwined together.
She still gave me the same look from before. "Katsuki, please take a seat." She told me and I did. Dad sat next to mom and across from me. "Now, I want you to answer me honestly when I ask you some questions. Okay?" I nodded my head as a response. "Good. So, would you mind telling me why you and your friends were bullying Izuku?"
