Oh, man. When will this class end?? I yawned and laid my head down on my arms. The teacher is going on and on about what we're learning today, but he keeps getting sidetracked about something else.

This is pissing me off. I silently whined to myself. I wanna go home...! Then the teacher's phone rang. The teacher stopped talking and walked over to his desk to answer the phone. I lift my head up.

I know it's most likely I won't get to go home, whoever it is, I would gladly take their place so bad right now.

"What do you mean he's here to pick him up?" The teacher questions over the phone call, everyone was paying attention to what he was saying. The girls sighed in disappointment when the teacher mentioned a boy was going home. "Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Okay. Goodbye." He sets the phone down back in its place.

I just averted my eyes back on my paper to try and solve this problem on the board. "Izuku Midoriya."

Huh? I sprung my head upward and saw the teacher looking at me. "Yes, sir?"

"You can get your stuff and go, someone came to pick you up early," he said.

On the outside I was nonchalant about it, but on the inside, I was so happy and scared at the same time. Am I in trouble? If I am, then what am I in trouble for?

I packed everything in my backpack and left the room. It's probably another appointment for some test to see how I'm doing. I heaved a sigh and headed down to the front office. Opening the door, I took a step back and saw someone signing a sheet.

He notices me as he perks his head up and smiles, "Brother! It's so good to see you again!" He exclaimed while holding his arms out, he probably wants a hug.

One of the teachers came up to me and asked, "Is he really your brother or someone trying to kidnap you?"

"No, he is. Half-brother to be exact." I went forward and walked to my brother's side. "Tenko, what are you doing here?"

"What? Can't I see my little half-brother and take him out of school just to hang out?" He inquired while still having his arms out.

"You're not going to put your arms down until I give you a hug, huh?"

"Yes, you are right about that," he said while holding a firm smile.

I rolled my eyes and went in for a hug. He wrapped his arms around me for a moment and pats his hand on my back, "Thank you for the hug, now I just have to sign a few things and we'll be good to go."

"Okay..." I muttered and waited over by the entrance door. Tenko Shimura, my older half-brother. My dad had married a different woman but got a divorce, eventually he married my mom and here I am. To be honest, I thought he would hate me, but it was actually the opposite.

I also did have a half-sister too, but she passed away around the time I entered high school. I don't know how, but I didn't ask much about how she died, since it's a bit insensitive to ask in the first place. So really, I'm the closest thing to a sibling to him.

Tenko hummed to himself as he put the pen down and turned to me, "All right, little brother! Ready to spend the afternoon with me?"

"Yeah." I said in a monotone voice. As we walked out, I didn't look at him, "Sorry if I didn't sound excited. I am happy to see you again. But, shouldn't you be in college at this time?"

"I skipped." He walked towards his car as he got out the keys and unlocked it, I caught up with him and sat in the passenger seat.

"Why though?"
