Today is the day! It's finally here. The cast-list is posted. Deku and I arrived early for the list to be posted. That's a once in a while time where I for once actually wake up at five in the morning. My finger grazed the paper as I tried to find my name.

Deku pointed it out at first and I see my name up on the top of the list. I got it! I'm going to be Anastasia!! I squealed and happy run in the same spot.

"Oh! It looks like Kacchan got Dimitri!" Deku exclaimed and that really ruined my mood. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I got the lead, but out of all people, they picked him? I shouldn't be surprised, but now, I'm starting to wonder if I should ask for a smaller role.

"Dammit! I got Sophie?!" A girl angrily shouted to herself and I took notice on who that girl was. In my understanding, she doesn't take drama classes. Why did she even audition? More importantly, why does she think she was getting the lead after waltzing to the auditions and then performing like—I don't even know what I'm saying anymore.

I nudged Deku's arm from behind me to get his attention as I whispered, "I know I was asleep after my audition, but she can act, right?"

He immediately looked up and his eyes were moving from left to right at a fast rate while looking at the ceiling. Soon, he looked back at me and shook his head, "Not very good, I'm afraid. I honestly thought that Annalise would've gotten Sophie. She's so nice!"

Looking back on the cast list I saw that Annalise is the understudy for Sophie, "Who knows, maybe this person may not like her role and that'll make Annalise get that role instead?" I said and we both walked away.

Not too far away, footsteps ascended and I turn around to see the same girl who was very displeased by her role, coming up to us. She wasn't even looking at Deku, she was just looking right at me.

"You cheated your way through the auditions, didn't you?!" She spatted out and her friends behind her nodded in agreement. "It makes the most sense, since I would look like the great Duchess Anastasia!"

"It's nothing about looks. We all got a role based on our performance, it has nothing to do with looks. You were probably a horrible actor."

The girl scoffed at me as she placed her hand on her chest, like she was offended by that remark. Then the drama teachers came by and the girl returned to her usual perky mood. "Excuse me, I think you made a mistake. I'm supposed to be Anastasia."

"There are no mistakes when it comes to casting," the teacher responded with a firm smile.

Then her brother interjected, "Technically, there are ones like the movies where they—"

"Well," she turned her head to the side to face her brother, "That's because they turned out to be awful people." She realized that she went off topic and put her attention back on the perky girl. "Besides, I picked Ochaco because she brought the character Anastasia to life. Maybe you could learn a thing or two. Oh! If you don't want to participate, then I'd be happy to give it to someone else."

I swear I saw her head fuming with anger like a tea kettle is about to go off, "Fine! I don't want to be in your stupid musical anyway!" She stormed off with her friends following behind her.

Annalise arrived, she still hadn't seen the cast list yet, so the teacher stopped her from going anywhere. "Annalise, there's no need to check, you got the part for Sophie!" That ought to make her day. I gestured to Deku that we should get to our classes.

My first class is actually gym class. I still don't see why we have to wear gym uniforms, like why can't we just wear our own gym wear instead of this? I got into the girl's locker room and opened my locker. I took off my shirt and threw it in the locker as I got out my gym shirt. Before putting it on, I turned to a mirror and looked at myself.
