Did I get everything off my list? I skimmed through the checklist again. Clothes, check. Shoes, check. Books, check. For some reason, decorations, check. Hm... I feel like I'm forgetting something.

My mom called for my brother, "Tenko! Come on, we have to drop your brother off to college, so he can get settled in!" She rummages through her purse as she walks down the steps of the front porch. "Izuku, where is your brother? We cannot be late again."

"Mom," I replied as I came by her side, "You know he has to cover for two people at his job."

She rolled her eyes at me, "How was I supposed to know that he's at work? I swear kids these days are so irresponsible. Your brother shouldn't have to do that!"

"Well, maybe there's a reason why they can't make it to work. Besides, he mentioned that his shift will be over as soon as we come to pick him up." I mentioned it to her as I guided her to the car. "Where's dad?"

"Here!" He hollered as he came down the step and waved out the car keys in his hands. "I'll drive."

I opened the door to the backseat behind my mom and my dad got in the driver's seat. Mom looked back to me, "Have you packed all your things? Do you have your headphones with you?"

I tapped the left ear of the headphones that's around my neck. "I've checked over three times and everything is all packed."

The car started up and my dad started driving down the street, "So, how does it feel to be in college now? You promise to make some new friends while you're there?"

When he says new friends, he means friends other than Kacchan, Uraraka and Yaomomo. Uraraka and Yaomomo are going to an arts school that's in a really huge city. Of course, I tried to get in, but my parents didn't like the distance and they wanted me to go to a school that's closer to them. Also I am currently waitlisted at that school. I decided that I wanted to study more about english and I'm supposed to pick out something to minor in, I might just consider theater just because it's the only other thing that I know.

Kacchan, however, even though I told him he doesn't have to, wanted to go with me. He could and probably get a scholarship anywhere, whether it's because of his physique or intellect. But we did promise that we will go to whatever college that'll be best for the both of us. "Yes, dad. I promise to make some new friends. But it's not like I'm going to be alone, I've got Kacchan."

I could hear my dad let out a dreaded sigh, "Izuku, you know that I don't like that guy. Didn't he bully you?"

"Hisashi, quit that. He's changed and those two have gotten quite well, if I do say so myself. If it wasn't for Bakugo, Izuku wouldn't have passed his finals if he didnt tutor them."

Yeah... tutor. We definitely didn't make out whenever it was just us by ourselves in the house. But we did still study, it was just a reward that he offered if I did a good job getting mostly correct answers. I wasn't failing school or anything, I may have twisted the truth to my parents to let Kacchan come to the house and hey at least I have my diploma.

"Oh!" My mom quickly whipped her head around, "Speaking of friends, this'll be a good opportunity to find yourself a partner. Meeting new people is good for you and who knows maybe someone would be something more to you!"

I groaned, "Mom, we talked about this. More importantly, didn't you say that I should focus more on my studies?"

When we got to the stoplight, it just turned red. Dad tightened the grip on the steering wheel. "Son, this'll do you good. We'll pick out some good candidates for you while you're setting everything up in your dorm. Just leave everything to us."
