Episode 3.2

You called over Itadori right when his conversation with Gojo ended. He jogged over to you and Kugisaki with a wholesome grin on his face and you only stared at his jolly expression and began to wonder about how he is able to put up a smile most of the time when his life is in the hands of jujutsu sorcerers and that he has entered the gruesome life of one.

"Have a safe trip"

Gojo remarked before the three of you entered the gloomy building.

Ever since Itadori set foot inside, he's been checking the rooms with a serious face. Acting like a spy in movies while you and Kugisaki just casually walked with straight faces.

"Should I follow them?"

Fushiguro asked Gojo while they sat and waited outside while the group is doing their mission. 

"Don't force it, you just recovered"

"But I think we need to keep an eye on Itadori"

"True. But it's Nobara we're testing this time and see a little more of (Name)'s abilities"

Gojo explained with a smile as he remembered your display of strength with Principal Yaga on the day of Itadori's exam. Gojo has always wondered what else you can do with your immense cursed energy.

A staircase was in sight and you waited for Itadori to come over to not leave him behind.

Leaving a rookie in a place inhabited by curses is dangerous, even if the curses are low-grade.

"It's depressing. Why are we still fighting curses in Tokyo?"

Kugisaki whined while she walked onto the stairs first, Itadori trailed behind her while you followed them from behind with your hands in your pockets and your eyes focused on the floor.

"What? Aren't you here to get rid of curses?"

Kugisaki stopped and turned her head.

"This is a waste of time. Let's split up. Me and (Name) will start from the top and work our way down. You start from the bottom"

Your ears perked at the mention of your name, making you look up at the brunette.

"Let's finish this up quick and head to Ginza for sushi"

"Wait a minute. Let's be serious. Curses are dangerous"

"All Jujutsu sorcerers know that, Itadori"

You suddenly spoke causing Itadori to look behind him to look at you but because of that, he was unable to see Kugisaki running towards him before kicking him right in the gut. Itadori comically spun around, he was about to land on the ground harshly but you placed a hand on his back before it could happen.

Itadori and Kugisaki looked up at you, you had your eyes closed while you caught Itadori with one hand while the other is in your pocket. You opened your eyes and your orbs instantly landed on Itadori's innocent face, when he made eye contact with you he felt his face warm up a little but he didn't look away.

Kugisaki saw the eye contact you're having with Itadori and the look on the boy's face. She suddenly felt annoyed at the scene before her and she found it weird, she usually ignores that kind of interaction when she sees it. So why is she annoyed now?
