A Corpse Shell (Jujutsu Kaisen Various x Reader)

Episode 6

You entered an area where a couple of trees whose leaves fall every now and then. When you walked further into the huge space, you instantly detected the presence of two certain students you were looking for. The dead leaves you walked upon made satisfying crunches whenever you stepped on them.

Then, you saw a small staircase with two certain-first years sitting on its steps with a distance between them. You quietly and slowly crept up to them by teleporting a few steps behind them.

You raised both hands and suddenly slammed them on their shoulders with a grin on your face, and they screeched. Well, Kugisaki screeched and Fushiguro just momentarily gasped with his fist at the ready.

"This where you two have been! I've been looking everywhere for you guys!!"

You cheerfully said which did not match the aura the two younger students possess. 

"AAH!! Oh, it's just you (Name)"

"I could've punched you, you know"

Fushiguro said with a frown while he glared at you, you turned to him and merely smiled.

"You can, but I'll dodge it anyway"

Then you sat between them and placed your hands on each of your knee.

"So, what are you two doing here?"

"...getting fresh air"

"For what reason?"

They looked at you with furrowed eyebrows and a look of disbelief, you stared back at them with eyes that held no thought. You three continued to stare at each other until Kugisaki broke the silence.

"...(Name), Itadori di--"

"Oh, yeah. Right, I remember"

You cut her off with a snap of your fingers earning a look of 'is she serious?' from them. The way you cut her off and then referred to him like you guys weren't close made them slightly angry at you. You didn't even do or say anything about Itadori's death. You didn't even look sad at all.

You're suddenly acting like you do not care for the teen.

Which is exactly what you're trying to do. Note the word 'trying'.

You bit the inside of your cheek behind pursed lips, you held the urge to glare at them for no reason.

'How the fuck am I going to forget that kid when these two mourning around me?'

"Well, it seems that you two are thinking about him so I'll just leave and come back later when you guys are done"

You calmly said as you stood up from your spot and began to walk away. Kugisaki and Fushiguro looked at each other for a brief moment before the latter stood up and called out to you before you could walk away any further.

"(Name)!"

You stopped in your tracks and listened to him with your back facing him.

"How can you...how can you be so cruel, (Name)? You acted the same way yesterday. We just lost someone, (Name)! Itadori just died, we both saw him die, (Name) but you don't even look like you cared about that at all! Why?"

"I just don't. What's the point in reminding me of a person that already passed away?"

"You...Do you even feel...sad about his death, (Name)?"

His question made you look up at the sky.

'I find it best to just forget the person immediately than to remember them everyday'
