Your Aunt Hanabi is calling you.
You answered the call and nonchalantly greeted her with a 'hello'.
"Hello (N/N)! Sorry I haven't called you for days"
"There's no need for you to apologize, Aunt Hanabi. Don't even worry about asking about my day because that isn't supposed to be your daily concern...It's theirs"
"Please don't make this about them. This is about you, (N/N)"
"Sorry"
"Okay, well you already know what I was about to ask so I'll move on to the next question: Are you getting along with your classmates?"
"Uhmm..."
You hummed with uncertainty, not so sure what to answer to your Aunt's question. Well, you do talk with them but you guys don't really have a close relationship such as friendship. They were still pretty much a bunch of strangers to you, and you assume they have the same thought about you as well.
"What's with the hold-up?"
"We talk...we communicate during missions and get the job done so we're getting along, I guess"
"Are you friends with them, (Name)?"
'This woman and her questions'
"*sigh...To be honest Aunt Hanabi, I don't think they see me as a friend and so do I"
"How are you so sure about that?"
"Well, they feel...I can feel tension whenever they're around me. They speak to me casually but there's still a disconnection between me and my classmates"
Figuring that your conversation with Hanabi is going to take a while, you decided to take a seat somewhere. You looked around to find a suitable spot. After a couple of seconds or so, you found a spot. That spot is a huge boulder surrounded by big trees whose leaves are looming over it.
It's a perfect spot, you get to be under the shade and get fresh air.
You walked over to the boulder and jumped on top of it before positioning yourself in a comfortable cross-legged sitting position. When you got felt contented with the position, you continued to speak with your Aunt.
"I don't really see the reason for getting along with them, Hanabi. If we get the job done together then that should be enough, I shouldn't establish friendship anymore. Getting the job done is much more important than that"
"(Name), you can't always be on your own. You need someone that will give you hand when you are in need. Someone that will be there for you when no one else would and you won't be getting any of that if you want to be a lone wolf"
"I will never be in need of someone's help, Hanabi. I am strong enough to handle myself, Hanabi. Even if I did get along with them, it's just going to be me doing most of the work because they're too weak"
"Do not underestimate people in the Jujutsu Society, (Name). Yes, you are stronger than them but that doesn't mean you are allowed to degrade them like that. Just so you know, I didn't want you to have friends for the sake of teamwork only. I want you to have someone to open up to when I am not around"
"Tch!"
"You don't want to be alone in this harsh world, (Name)"
"But no one—"
"I thought you wanted to improve your teamworking skills for us, (Name)? Isn't that why you entered the school in the first place?"
