Dreamer {Kai Parker}

The first thing Aurelia noticed when she opened her eyes was that she was no longer in her bedroom or well she was in her bedroom but, she noticed that it looked different than it did when she went to bed.

She cautiously gets up and creeps over to the door and slowly opens it and steps out into the hallway she tiptoes over to her brother's room and opens the door only to find it empty well not empty but Jeremy isn't in it anymore it's got a crib in it and baby things.

Aurelia backs out of the room utterly confused and then she checks the other rooms in the house the next one is Elena's room and she sees it's the room of a toddler, then she rechecks her room noticing that like Elena's room, it looks like it's for a toddler.

After checking the house she walks downstairs "What the hell? Where is everybody? Where am I?" she walks outside immediately noticing that something is different she's still in Mystic Falls obviously but everything is dark and there are literally no sounds like there usually are when you step outside. No crickets or birds nothing just silence.

Aurelia continues walking down the street looking around confused having no idea what's happening. Aurelia walks past the grill and it's empty, it's almost eerie how quiet everything is, she walks into the grill and sees the clock behind the bar it reads 9:15 AM.

Aurelia looks around "What the hell is going on? It's 9:15 in the morning and this place is deserted like some kind of ghost town..... totally not creepy at all" She turns and walks out of the grill only to bump into a man literally the first person she's seen since she 'woke' up here.

The man looks surprised "Ummm how did you get in here?"

She looks at him stunned for a moment "uhhh not sure..... not entirely sure where here is I mean it's Mystic Falls but it's different, I went to sleep in my house and woke up here in my house but everything was different...... where is everybody?"

The man looks at her for a moment and he sees the genuine confusion in the girl's eyes "You really have no idea?"

She shakes her head "No..... you are the first person I've seen since I woke up here... what's your name?"

The man still looks kind of stunned but answers her anyway "Kai Parker."

The Gilbert girl smiles brightly at him "Aurelia Gilbert" she shoves her hand out Kai stares at it for a second and she sees the hesitation on his face and chuckles "Okay then" she pulls her hand back "So where am I exactly and how come you're the only one here?"

He looks at the girl "This is Mystic Falls on May 10th, 1994 and you are somehow in my Prison World.... which is why as you can see I'm the only one here.... what did you do to get stuck in here with me?"

Aurelia looks at him confused "How is that possible? I don't understand what you mean by 'Prison World' I haven't done anything"

Kai looks at her "You're completely innocent?"

She nods "Yeah I mean I broke my sister's favorite toy when we were seven but that's it"

Kai laughed "Yeah that doesn't deserve this as a punishment"

Aurelia still looks confused "Still I don't understand what's happening but why is this your 'Prison World' what did you do to deserve this?"

Kai smirks at her "Well might not want to delve into that... wouldn't want to scare you too much.... after all, you are the first person that I've had to talk to since I was locked up in here."

She stares at him warily for a moment before she shrugs "Okay then" she opens the door to the grill again "Come on and you can tell me what a Prison World is exactly"

He watches as she walks into the grill pausing for a moment before following "Okay then so a Prison World is like an Alternate Universe created by the Gemini Coven. My former coven.... which is a coven of witches and yes witches do exist" Kai slips into the booth in front of Aurelia "Questions?"

She gives him a look "Witches? like magic and spells and things like that?"

Kai nods at her "Yeah exactly like that."

She shakes her head "No way..... that can't be real"

He chuckles at her "Well it is"

Aurelia smirks at him "Yeah? You said your former coven so prove it"

He rolls his eyes "I can't... I have a particular effect on magic"

Aurelia crosses her arms looking at Kai "What does that even mean?"

But before Kai has a chance to answer her Aurelia shoots up in her bed looking around she notices that she's back in her room and she can hear Elena moving around in her room which is right next to Aurelia's and the walls are pretty thin.

Aurelia lets a shaky breath and mutters "Oh my god, it was just a dream.... wow I have never had a dream that vivid before"

Elena sticks her head into the room "are you okay? I heard you breathing heavily"

Aurelia nods at her "Yeah I just had a weird dream but I'm fine Lena."

Elena nodded at her "Okay" then she closed the door back behind her as Aurelia got up and decided to take a shower before she met Caroline at her house so they could go shopping and of course, she was gonna tell Caroline all about her weird-ass dream.

After their day of shopping, Aurelia and Caroline are piled up on Caroline's bed with an array of junk food in front of them "I'm telling you Care it was the weirdest dream that I've ever had."

The blonde looks at her "What was it about?"

Aurelia shrugs "I was here but everything was different and then there was this guy..... he was the only other person there everything else was deserted that a ghost town or something"

Caroline smirks at her "Well was your mystery guy as hot as mine?"

Aurelia laughs "he was pretty hot... he was tall well taller than me and had dark brown hair with these extremely pretty deep stormy blue eyes and at least your hot mystery guy was real, mine was only in a dream"

Aurelia left out the parts about where she knew the guy's name and the parts where he talked about magic because as far as she knows it was all just a dream and she was never gonna see him again... oh but how wrong Aurelia was about that.
